You arrive at your lab to find it the wreck you left it in yesterday.  The debris that accumulated at the doorway makes the lab barely accessible, but you manage to get your way in the same way you got out yesterday.  It looks like that it may take an hour of work to clean up the doorway, and another half-hour to put everything back in place.   You may want to go to the manager to get an assistant to help you clean out the lab, and possibly help you out with your experiments.

You then head towards the wolves and take out your book of enchantment magic (only time I am doing this).  (difficulty:12  1+5+2+1=9) You fail at attempting to increase the loyalty of the wolves, but (difficulty:6  previous total) they do not attack you.  You find the hawk when it lands, and (difficulty:12   9+5+2+1=17) you successfully increase the loyalty of the hawk to yourself.

You extract two strands of the adamantine fibers.  Your attempts to bend one of them is met with failure.  You look at the wafer and see that the individual fibers are woven around each other.  You cannot think of a way that they would be woven as good as they are within the wafer.  Absent mindedly, you touch the tips of the fibers together.  They are snatched from your hand by an unknown force and twist around each other.  So that’s how they form.  What next?

I am going to be returning to school from winter break on thursday, so it may take longer between updates.  This one took this long due to a) waiting for actions and b) going to visit relatives.

Also, when there are no conversations, turns will be 10 minutes, with conversations, turns will be 5 minutes.  Is that reasonable?
