The officer looks confused again, so I try again.

"I told you so?"  Didn't seem to work this time either.  Oh well, I'm no worse off than I was before.

"Oh no, I have to fight the dragon."  I glance around for some sort of weapon before realizing that I can't fight -- much less eat a dragon -- ever if I weren't in cuffs.

The officer glances at the mirror as he backs out of the room with his hand next to his gun.

I can hear Jeff, my lawyer, from the hallway complaining about police treatment of prisoners.

To distract myself I think about every detail I ever heard about dragons, maybe even some I'm making up like them owning mutual funds.

"I wonder how many mutual funds are dragon operated?"

You can't transfer my assets to you. I've got a will. Not that you'll be able to kill me...or that all of the benefactaries would make sense until the 2060's or so...

I'm so obsessed about myself.  Nobody would ever want to be supportive of me.

Then Jeff walks in.

"You know you shouldn't talk with the police." he smiles weakly at me.

"Hey, come in.  Umm, Jeff do you have any meat that I could eat.  I feel like eating your meat." (Especially if it's a big rare piece for some reason)

I feel better, maybe I'm not so self obsessed.

"How's your lawsuit vs. a dragon going?"

That's not how the law works, or has ever worked.
For starters, I need to approve my will; good luck with that if I don't approve and am DEAD.

Jeff sadly shakes his head, "So the new medicine isn't working, eh?  I think we can have you taken care of soon-ish."

I get a bad feeling "That isn't how the law works or has ever worked."

I look around, where has the tea gone?  Maybe I can find it in the lego fort -- but I can't take it apart with my hands cuffed so I'm going to kneel on the legos to look inside.

A stray thought hits me, but then I answer it (because of vibrations against the tympanic membrane)

Suddenly I realize something very important; "Jeff, I have to leave because of the officer's gun of +1 peacekeeping wants me to destroy all rice and water on the planet."
