True, but it doesn't evolve into Zweilous until level... holy fuck, FIFTY? Dude isn't gonna get a Hydreigon until after we all beat the game! Hopefully my higher stats will counterbalance that. Or... Cryogonal to the face.   :D

Or maybe he starts with Gible instead of Deino.

Dragon rage at level 7! That's ridiculous! We're going with pseudo-legendary dragons though, so Haxorus isn't on the table. (Despite how rad it is. I'll probably pick one up along the way.) Gible is a possibility. Though come to think of it, in Challenge Mode has the Elite Four all right above level 60. So he'd get his Hydreigon late, but not quite too late.

I am confident in my choice of Bagon. I got to pick my starter first, and I went with my homeboy from Hoenn. I think I can pull him through the death and violence of the early game and into glorious, soaring flight.

Alright, though bear in mind that it'll only be a Pawniard until level 52, and I won't have access to Pawniard until Route 9. Still, I like Bisharp.

I actually ended up using the first one, with some modifications.

The cover art is coming along nicely. It needs a bit of touching up, and I may create a version without the tile effect so that it works better as a background. (It's the right ratio for widescreen but waaaaay too big for most monitors and laptops.) Perhaps I'll widen the panorama for funsies later.

As for the start of the game, well, it's closer. My friend is but a gym badge and an elite four away from unlocking Challenge Mode again. Hopefully that doesn't take overly long.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Good news: my friends has almost beaten the game again. Bad news: I wanted to start before February 1 at the latest, but it's already 5 minutes too late for that.

Isn't this the strangest Let's Play? I make the thread in December and then don't do anything for more than a month.  :P But she's close enough to winning that I think we can get the administrative stuff out of the way.

We need a gender, and we need a name. 7 character limit.
