How about... Sally? The Salamance!

Even if it's male. Gender confusion makes me smile inside.

The Bagon was traded from another game, so it's already nicknamed Salamanca. We're looking for some people names.

I'm guessing it was the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Huh. I guess there were two. There are actually two answers this week. Burnt Pies will get a point for this one, but there's one left to find within the images themselves.

Ooh! Ooh! I know! I know!
*Tells self to put hand down and keep quite, I already answered and got it wrong*
No.
*Fine, what is it?*
The prof's hair. The lines are thicker and of a different shape.
*wrong, look at the rest of her face*
O,Rly? How about the prof's earrings? They look just like the pig's tail.

That was CUNNINGLY HIDDEN!

I originally thought the arrows were copypasted, enlarged and rotated, but they weren't. :P

Alright, let's get this party started with a real update. Apparently the beginning of this game is wildly different from the former, so that last guess makes no sense. It is now disowned from the plot.

Spoiler: A Bold Undertaking! (click to show/hide)

I'll be doing this comic-style. Updates come as soon as I can figure out anatomy and perspective. (It took me more than an hour to draw that thing, I'll admit it.) Also, there is a fun side-effect to not entering any Pokemon Centers. I won't be visiting Pokemarts either, since they're built into the same building.

Question of the update: What is the best explanation for wearing a shirt with a pink lemon emblazoned on the front?

Spoiler: It's A Kitty! (click to show/hide)

Fun fact of the update: I couldn't figure out how to draw a hand from the wrist view, so I zoomed into the picture and traced by outstretched hand. Fingernails are for squares.

NOTES: I can't get my Bagon until I can trade, which isn't available until I get the Basic Badge. I boxed the Oshawott I was given, and now we have a level 2 Purrloin and a death wish. It is literally the worst Pokemon available in the wild here. It needs a name, as does our player character. I already have a people name in the game, but I'm not exactly using screenshots here.

OTHER NOTES: Goddamn hands are hard. Faces too. (°__°)

Level two? Looking forward eagerly to this game ending with the first real battle.  :o

Also, clearly your character is a big fan of pink lemonade. It obviously comes from pink lemons.

Finally found time to grind some Pokermans.

Spoiler: A Close Encounter! (click to show/hide)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some Q&A:
Q: Why isn't our heroine wearing her visor?
A: It looks stupid and it's hard to draw.

Q: Why is our heroine standing in the tall grass without a Pokemon at her side?
A: Legs are hard to draw.

Q: Why was that patch of grass shaking so much?
A: Battles are hard to draw.

Q: Why is that Pidove so weirdly shaped?
A: Two answers! First, Pidove are hard to draw accurately. Secondly, Purrloin are hard to draw.

Q: Why haven't you called our heroine by her proper name yet?
A: I'm waiting for the next person to post a people name. Any people name.

Spoiler: The Party (click to show/hide)

Now, what to call this terrible bird? It's very welcome to the party, since Kat has trouble beating the swarms of level 2 Patrat I've been mowing down to level up even this far. I'm sure that it's our most powerful Pokemon already, and it hasn't even fought anything.

The next catching area has the following options for a new team member: Azurill, Psyduck, Mareep, Riolu, Patrat, Lillipup, or a hellishly difficult to find Dunsparce. (I refuse to use an Audino.)

Call it... Vogel. It is the german name for a bird!

Call it Vogelin if it is a girl I suppose.

As for the character... Well, Notbrock is a rather rather pretty name for a young girl.

Notbrock has just acquired a bird named Vogel, then! Which Pokemon should we acquire next, out of that list?

Well, Riolu would be ideal I think.

He's very versatile with the many different moves he can learn. You can't go wrong with the little guy!

Alright, it looks like the party will soon be...

Purrloin
Pidove
Riolu
Azurill
Bagon

Not too bad, but first I have to beat that Aspertia Gym.
