I dont really care much about as why it exists. There are much stuff existing in df that is just there because its fun or it fills space. Having a extra weapon which is crap isnt that bad, it bring variety like extra animals in the wilds do.

Also it punishes anyone who wants to play as an elf.  :D

TRAINING WEAPONS!!!

I dont really care much about as why it exists. There are much stuff existing in df that is just there because its fun or it fills space. Having a extra weapon which is crap isnt that bad, it bring variety like extra animals in the wilds do.

Also it punishes anyone who wants to play as an elf.  :D
But of this I heartily approve.

I would have killed (no pun intended) for some blunt weaponry back when dwarves could die in training accidents.

Now imagine that solid iron rod is NOT BLUNT.
Or imagine it having a weight on the end or a spiked ball. Its not so hard to improve a metal stick.

And you usually don't improve a sharp metal stick by making it blunt.
