Ok, so here is an idea I had some time ago:
The Digital World was discovered five years ago. A group of kids somehow entered it while they were in a summer camp. For the first time, the Real World and the Digital World made contact. They became the first Tamers, humans able to train Digimons and make them digivolve faster than they would do if they hadn't a Tamer.
However, a year later several governments discovered the Digital World by themselves. Monsters able to do the job of full armies. These governements started to train young Tamers to become special operations teams. Why would you send a team to destroy enemy facilities when you can just send a single Metal Greymon?
However things didn't stop there. Not all Digimons are friendly. Maybe they are evil Digimons. Or maybe they simply think that they are being used as slaves. Whatever the reason, these Digimons are dangerous, and they won't allow humans to take the Digital World.
But some other things have happened. A few years ago a game called Digimon Card appeared. It is not known who created the game, but the cards are known to interact with Tamer's digivices to give advantage to the Tamer's Digimons.
Until now you were a simple kid. However, a second ago an strange egg entered this world from your laptop, as well as an strange device. But first, how about you tell us who are you?
Name:
Appearance:
Nationality:
Background:
Gender:
Age: From 6 to 18 (Very important. All Digimons tend to trust kids, even if they are evil, and is easier for them to make them digivolve, but the younger you are, the less points for stats and skills you'll have.
Stats: They are Strenght, Toughness, Dextery, Willpower, Intellegence and Perception. You have (Age x 1.5) points to spend on them, rounded up. A zero in Dextery would mean you are disabled. A one in Perception is someone with poor senses or who gets easily distracted. A 2 in strenght is a kid average. A 3 in any stat is adult's low average. A 4 is average or a bit above average. A 5 in Willpower would be someone that never gives up. A 6 in Intellengence would be a well known Scientist. A 7 is Human Max. Very few people would have a 7 in a stat. Stephen Hawking would have a 7 in Intellegence, for example.
Skills: You have Age points to spend in skills. Some examples would be Use of Computers (includes Hacking), Persuade, Coolness or Weapon Training (You would have to buy it once for every new kind of weapon: Melee, Pistols, Rifles and so on), but fell free to suggest skills. The more points you have in a skills, the easier it will be for you to succeed in rolls.
Then, you have to answer a few questions. These questions will determine what kind of Digimon will be your first one.
