why did i get an opposing forces debuff on making madness creatures into heat, pretty sure they aren't opposing
They are "relatively opposed", which is -3. To be clear, you that's you (as in the Sphere your presence is aligned with) being relatively opposed to madness and trying to turn it into heat. So its -2 for relatively opposed, which is the standard when influencing things that aren't in your sphere. Then, you're turning it into something which you are also not aligned with, heat. I thought about it and decided that only half of the -2 for working with heat would stack with the madness penalty. As to how opposed madness, heat and enormous spheres are, I would say that they are relatively or slightly opposed. Something that is very close but not aligned under larger spheres, like destruction trying to manipulate violence, would be a -1. Being in the same sphere as something means no penalties, order manipulating chaos directly or vice versa will have maybe -4,5,or 6 to it, depending on other factors.
Is there a specific reason I didn't get the Tetrahedron sphere? Didn't others get Spheres from geometric forms?
Well, Ironyowl didn't get Sphere: Cubes for the Blue Cube. javierpwn only got Sphere:Enormous Spheres because of his first actions. The enormous hollow sphere then got further developed with the successful actions of turn 2 and he gained +2 to Sphere:Spheres as a result of continued success with the whole sphere thing he's going for. For the Tetrahedron sphere, I might have given you Sphere:Tetrahedron if you had rolled a 12 for the power draw (or something nice on the thing itself), but as it is you're already got time, space, a temporal prison (well, had) that forms part of the core sequences of events in this universe's big bang equivalent, as well as creating the largest number of celestial bodies (in number at least) as well as spawning a race of guilty, idol worshiping dragons whilst in the form of a two headed dragon made of violence
. In more ingame terms, the presences are more easily changed when they have no defining characteristics and harder to change as they become more defined.
All that said, there's nothing stopping you getting Sphere:Tetrahedron with a few successful actions Tetrahedron actions.
Aaand I am now an endlessly hungry void. That either sucks horribly, or gives me an excuse to consume everything in the universe.
Can I have a bonus for consuming energy?
You have a +3 to any actions that involve consuming ☼ or anything made of ☼ (anything not made of nothing, so you can't consume Space or the Ethereal Dragon (or yourself or other presences)). Anything else is fair game. You have -4 to all other actions.
