Day 08

   You'd never know it, but it's coming one two months I've been stranded here.  The day opened with a thunderclap.  Apparently dry lightning.  Hmmmm, Alma; is it dry lightning if the lightning occurs during a snowstorm?  The roofing is going well.  A zombie and few skeletons decided that they should try to shoot me down off the roof today.  I am slowly collecting arrows as I kill the skeletons, but there had got to be a better way.  I'll find one.
   I finished roofing the first floor.  I decided to add and attic, and began to prepare for that.  I figure it'll be a library of some kind.  Maybe a secure bedroom.  This building my own home this is kind of fun.  Hard work, but rewarding.

Night 08

   The night saw the frame of my house complete.  Now for the first floor's floor.  I shall spend the night doing this.  I figured out that if you stick cobblestone in the smelter you can smooth it, then make bricks out of the result.  Sounds like a great tool for my foundation and floor.

   I spent the day mining, smelting, and laying the foundation.  It's done, but I need more stone; for the floor.

Well, Now Ima abandon the house.  Its not very pretty anyhow.  I used half-planks for the roofing, and an attic is too tall to make them sync well.  If I had used stair or planks. . .  I just need an excuse.  I ain't got no food. . .

In other news, I think I'll just use the gunpowder I have to blow up the house and flee into the night.

Rules:

-No chests.
-Once I place craftymabobers, I cannot pick them up.  This includes any device/block that can create new items.
-I must move a t least 512 blocks a day.
-Any 'nights must be spent open air, and preferably not using a pillar.  Monsters must have a fair shot at me.
-I am a carnivor, hear me roar!
-1 full day must be spent walking, including the night, before I can go underground.
-I must make at least a diamond pickaxe before I go to hell.

After the 25th Ill do it. . .

Okay, so the deal is my laptop (I have no desktop) monitor busted.  So.  This is put on hold for maybe another week or so.  I plan to do a nomad run but first some fun with creepers a little too close to home.

Found Dogs, Managed to get 2 from the 7(?) bones I had.  Bred them and Found cave.  Dog touched lava, Dog dies, Glad I had baby.  Found Abandoned mine in a shaft.  Y21  Explore, no diamonds yet.

Well, I'm currently trying to win cIV.  Caesar is off 60-40ing Kymer and Shaka while Brennus is flip-flopping between helping Kymer and space race.  I am currently devoting my whole production to space and have Defpac with the only other power left; Cyrus.  Its a race between the ai's superior teching vs the landmongering Rome and me.  If you asked me 50 turns ago if I had a shot. . .

Ill try this again tho.  Gimme time.

So I lost, Three turns away.  Brennus launched a rocket w/more enginepower.  dick.

Anywho, Minecraft!  I'll play live, on Tues, Thurs.  But I'll start it todays.

Starting out, I see a swamp, water, dirt, and tree as far as the eye can see (256 Blocks).  I find plenty of chickens, thankfully.  Now arrows are taken care of, and no zombie meat for this guy!  A problem though, was finding stone without going underground. . .  I finally scrapped off the top layers of dirt from a hill and took what I needed.

I already had a slime and spider attack.  I need to make me my stone sword, and I as well stone tools.  This is my one night above ground.  I am burning wood for charcoal and will spend the rest of the night cooking chickens.
