Nothing.  ;)
Latest release was June 4th, so nothing new has been released the last 6 months.

Next release is roughly estimated at arriving in march though I think it was, so not too long to go ^^

Ah he's still on it, can't wait for the update! Need to dust off my skills soon before the release.

March? Where'd you get that estimate?  It seemed to me from the way he was talking it'd be around February if not next month.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

From this interview. Can't remember exactly what he said but march was brought up as a preliminary release goal. Can't remember when he said it either, but think it was towards the later parts/endish :>

What's new?

It's Bay12. Everything is simultaneously familiar and new at all times. And insane. Heck, the Forgotten Beast Art Contest is still alive -- but you know that already. ;^)

In all seriousness... if there's anything that interests you -- dfhack, Soundsense, somebody's Legend of Zelda mod -- check it out and see how it's grown. People have come and gone, but while Toady's been working on expanding DF itself, a lot of the stuff for it has gotten revamped, enhanced, or just plain dumped in a magma pool of new features.

I come and go myself, not over the span of months, but just as I feel like spending my precious spare time laughing my head off at the antics around here, stuff like that. Some things you have to come back and see where they are a few months later anyway, if you're not participating in them. Things like that elven caravan comic Darkerdark was drawing back when. Which also brings us to the point that some things do go into quasipermanent hibernation. But you never know -- sometimes they come back. It's one of the great things about this being a community of its own twisted fashion (uh, twisted into humanoid form? beware its threadly necro!)...

I have an idea. Let's play a game where you win by being as quiet as possible.
I get it, it's one of those games where losing is fun!
I spend most of your dimension's time outside of your dimension. I can't guarantee followup or followthrough on any comments, ideas, or plans.

Well said ^^
Been using SS for a long time so I wouldn't really call it new :P
Right now I'm just trying to get a hold of some old friends to get a new succession game going :)
Darkerdark made a comic O____o? I'll go look right away  :D
