It appears due to the fact that I am not completely mad, I have been appointed overseer, it has been a terrible year, I have not been allowed to carve bones hardly at all! Also, my breasts rotted because of the horrible touch of mad cultist of a dark and fishy god, so there's that.

Anyway, I set about making things a bit more secure, walled off the courtyard with the traps and opened up the entrance with the bridge gate, also linked that gate to a lever so we can seal ourselves in if we need to, some land mines and dogs stationed in the tunnel should keep theives at bay.

Previous overseers seemed to dig holes from the courtyard into the fort proper apparently at random, I have sealed most of those up as well.

Shade the Clothier wanted to make something, but it seems we do not have the right kind of cloth or whatever, now he seeks only battle. Once again, the military must be mobiized to put down one of our own.

It is over, he bled to death from multiple skull fractures, beat ten kinds of hell out of Xom though before it was over, he may not pull through.

Kobolds took a baby!

Summertime, and things are going pretty well I think. Might even be able to get some trade items put together this season.

Summer proceeds, I begin to worry about all the fisherdwarfs going so far away from the fort, have instituted a project to bring the river inside to prevent possible accidents.

A goblin babysnatcher has just straight up murdered Inod the carpenter, however the hunters were outside and proceeded to give him javelins, lots of javelins, we are taking bets on if he will make it out of our territory.

Inod was apparently friend to Tomio the hammerer, in rage at his death Tomio decided to pick a fight with some other random carpenter, who proceeded to beat him into unconsciousness, I... don't think Tomio is very good at his job, plus now I think he has broken the law but who will hammer the hammerer?

Asob, a ranger and one of our new arrivals, is staring at the moon in a fashion I don't much care for. We also just restarted booze production, but he did not rush for it, I believe he should be isolated. I will consult with Tomio when he wakes up.

Shade became enraged and punched a turtle into unconsciousness, he says he feels better now, Der the siege engineer has given up hope and refuses to eat and drink, Tomio woke up so I asked him what we should do, he said but Asob the moon obsessed ranger into a room, and then put Der into that room as well, then lock the door. I suppose it is worth a shot. I prepared the room of madmen.

Everyone is being very touchy, even I am having a rough time, the rot in my chest has spread to my, well, everything, except myu left shin, no one really wants to talk to me anymore.

Migrants, well perhaps the new blood will help people relax.

We appear to have a mayor now, he came to me and demanded rooms, also he wanted three leather backpacks, I told him I'd see what I could do.

Anan, one of our Fisherdwarfs has been missing for a while now, this is why I want the fishing inside.

... Oh, perhaps it had nothing to do with being outside, he was found in a bed just now completely drained of blood.

Ice Wizard theives, they are apparently here to steal torsos, as that is what they cut off of the hunter who found them.

Thus ends summer, with tragedy and bloodshed.

A hill titan has come! It is a six legged quadraped made of water, I think we can take it. It doesn't even make sense!

That went well, it gave poor Fikod a seeing to, but the rest of us punched it in half.

Xom is up and about, good on him!

Despite the awfulness of this place, more migrants have arrived.

And  caravan! yay!

And goblins, aww!

Well, that went ok I guess, the goblins killed most of the caravan, but the guards managed to kill enough gobbos that they left after doing their damage, which means free stuff for us!

Tomio is better now, still don't know what he is going to do about his crimes, but Zen is proving to be a quite excellent doctor.

Our secure water source is finally ready, this will greatly aid security.

Winter now, and the living is actually fairly easy, if the rot doesn't get me I may survive the year.

No screenshots, sorry. I play at work in between customers, because that is the only time I have to play. Labeling and uploading screenshots is an additional step that slows down my turns more. It wasn't particularly special though, six legged quadruped composed of water, it's every movement emanates pure joy.

As with any water composed monster, it got killed pretty easy by fists.
