Getting attached to an ascii character is way less weird than getting attached to a 3D representation of a human named after the heroes of Warcraft if you ask me...  ;)

I'll stick with getting attached to those little bearded dimwits we all know and love.


Also, the cats might have smuggled in a bomb.  Or maybe you just have very warm vermin...

If your beer stockpile was even a bit near magma...a fire snake could have sneaked in.

Yeah, pretty amazing how close I get to my dwarves.  Until five migrations later I can't remember who my original 7 dwarves were and it just becomes statistics.

Well, that's why I gave them profession names such as "Master Farmer" or "Master Butcher" when the first migrant wave came in, and also, they're only ones who get to have their own rooms and don't have to sleep in the filthy common barracks. Well, at least the five of them who still live   :confused:

You can capture firesnakes with animal traps, right?

And then your dwarves can transfer them to cages, right?

And then when the goblins come rolling into your decoy booze stockpile, you let the firesnake out of the cage with a lever...

I will mod in plastic as a resource.  I will then tweak the Dwarven civ entry so that coins are only made out of plastic, and are called "credit cards".
I will make dwarves purchase things with bushels of credit cards.  It will be a mockery of both systems.

Well i have a new project. Just wish i could stop them putting prepared meals in my drink only stockpiles. i don't see a forbid/allow option for that though. am i missing something?
