"Y'know, that giant sponge in the river is just a sponge. It can't move, and I ought to be quite safe if I just take a drink a couple of yards upstream. After all it beats dehydration!"

"Also, as it is only a sponge, I probably shouldn't empty my quiver into the river shooting at it. It's just common sense!"

"I should definitely get rid of those corpes from the animals dying of hunger, that sounds like a wonderful idea."

"I'm fine without a bit of beer for a while. I know that some more is being made and there is no reason to throw a fuss."

"You know, my bed wasn't really that valuable. I don't think I will over-react and throw a tantrum over it."

"Maybe I shouldn't get depressed that my best friend was just executed. I mean he did just attack 3 other dwarves while in a tantrum."

"I know three other dwarves just threw tantrums, but I don't think I should. Life isn't perfect, but at least we still have nice food and statues."

As you can probably guess, one of my fortresses is in a tantrum spiral. These are all things that happened, in order.
