 We intend to find out, although all indications from Toady in Future of the Fortress is that mods in general should work for the most part. I may be wrong... my memory is quite funky.

The new update has pulping so zombies can't be revived indefinitely. That means the mod might actually be easier and more balanced in Necrothreat III :o

Hey! Necrothreat II was a big success in comparison to Necrothreat I. It survived for ~10+ years after all. I call that an achievement, all things considered. Waiting for DF2014 is a good point that I'd rather make use of. On the other hand, I'm so bad at modding that I have no idea what to add, or how to. If you guys have suggestions, hop onto the Mod Thread, look at the replies and maybe even you can have a go at adding something in. Else just giving suggestions.

From my limited modding experience, I expect DF2014 to work with most of the features of mods, as not much is being removed, rather than added on top from my understanding. It is completely possible he could change or add some syntax words to it though.

P.S. It is in the nature of a thread that's named after necroing dead threads to be necroed all over again. You could call it the only thread on this forum where it's a legal move to necro it.
