Did anyone buy Sim City 4 for $5, still has it in his inventoy, and is willing to sell it to me for that price? I was about to buy it yesterday but got sidetracked and now the price has doubled.

Not sure why we need a second Steam Sale thread. Nevertheless...
Just thought it'd be handy to have the discussion in one place. Or would be if I kept the OP updated.  ::) Sorry, I'm away for new year and have no access to a computer, just this little iDevice.
Just quickly, what do we think of Far Cry 3 for £22? Wait, or go for it?

Gal Civ franchise or FTL? or some other 4X I didnt see? ... or COH?

DAMNIT, I hate sales I never know what to get.

EDIT: I heard Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was supposed to be stellar, and quite moddable, worth 3 bucks?

DOUBLE EDIT: Goddamnit, or should I get Space Empires IV/V ?

Star Ruler. Out of Gal Civ 2, FTL, and SEV, I'm enjoying Star Ruler the most. (I got Star Ruler a week or less ago, and the others longer ago)

Star Ruler's 80% off on Steam until January 5.

Not sure if serious, but I guess I'll back you guys up and vote Farm Sim.

(though with this video I'm pretty sure you're messin' with us ;))

That was 100% of the reason I wanted it to win. Instead it was some shitty jet simulator. I've lost faith in humanity.

I liked The Jupiter Incident, but I never got to mod it and to be frank it's kinda linear and short.

The mechanics are nice (you can only target subsystems after you've scanned a ship for a while) and the story is pretty cool.

That looks really helpful, thanks. I'd love to watch it, but my Internet speed is almost fifth world. Download speed is roughly 7kb/s. could you possibly give me an overview of what he says? ::)
Thanks so much.

He says Farcry 1 is good, Farcry 2 is meh, Farcry 3 is good, but that you can get it for cheaper elsewhere, i.e. even retail is cheaper! Just look elsewhere :)

I don't really care, I'm not a fan for the holiday sales cause they usually flood the thread and there was so many arguments. But there is a sales thread in existence. ;)

We've started new threads for previous Sale events.  I think it's worked out well.  Once the Sale is over, Spaghetti7 can lock this thread and we'll just head back to the main one.

Oh man, I hear that.  I had only a Kindle Fire for eight days.  Not even rooted, so only a few Amazon apps.  And slow Internet at $0.75 a minute.  I got pretty good at checking the day's specials in under a minute.

I know this isn't Steam, but are the 5 dollar credits you get from Amazon when you purchase any of their holiday items reusable?

Tropico 4 flash sale 80% off (about 20 for everything) for the next couple hours. Gamersgate also has 80% off but doesn't seem to be for Steam. Longer sale though.
