I played the beta version and it really just felt like a chunkier Mount and Blade. It does have a very "Call of Duty vibe" to it.
The problems I found with the game that made me quick it pretty quick.
There's a real lack of game-modes currently.
There's an execution and resuscitation mechanic, making players stick to groups and "ganking" enemies.
The game is extremely slow placed compared to other first person slashers.
Enemies can spawn in on their squad members meaning you can have people popping out of no-where and ganking you.
Class balance was a bit iffy, there was really no reason to pick lighter armours over heavy or to not pick crossbow over archer.
Regenerative health.
A bandage mechanic where if you're injured to have to heal before a timer. If you're trying to fight someone you'll have no chance to bandage yourself so all you can do is bleed out.
No throwing weapons or horse archery. I know this makes sense from the time period but it's a major step down from Mount and Blade.
There's obviously no single-player.
There were some decent things though. The coat of arms editor was fun albeit limited. There was a decent amount of customisation if you're into that. Also the actual combat engine was pretty well done, factoring in the shaft of the weapon and everything.
