Hey LW, you forgot the 'Stephen Hawking becomes Skynet' option.
...I actually thought about putting that, but I thought no one would notice ;-;
I went through a phase where I assigned a world end to every famous person I knew. I lost the list, but still.

Can you try and remember?
...Rebecca Black - hacks every speaker in the world to constantly play 'Friday'
-Justin Beiber - eventually genderbends to girl then back to guy, etc, and oscillates between guy and girl that he breaks reality.
I'll try and post a more complete list tomorrow.

I really hope it is super war. That would be fun to watch on CNN. Before I die in a nuclear fire, of course, but I expect to be wiped out instantly, so none of that nasty radiation crap.

I object to the lack of penguin apocalypses.

It's clearly the Xen option. I want a pet headcrab, dammit!

Hey, you had one half a year ago. I'm too lazy to do that again.

Personally, I like to think that the world ending will be a direct result of Ryan North exploding.

I was under the assumption that all of existence was destroyed and subsequently recreated in the exact same form every time I blinked.

EDIT: Therefore, December 21, 2012 must be the day I spontaneously go blind, and am thus unable to ensure the next recreation of existence. My god...

It isn't big enough, nor would it survive re-entry. Hell, it barely survived launch.

Skulls for the skull throne! Blood for FREEEEMMMMAAAANNNNNNN! The worst possible way this could end would be if we had a dimensional shift in 40k.

I'm going with portal to Xen.

Mayby we'll even get a showoff between the Freemen.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Hmm. On that note, a high fantasy apocalypse is the best apocalypse (as Martin freeman is the guy playing the hobbit, as well as watson in sherlock). I wonder who would win in a battle between those realities... placing bet's on Middle-earth.

My bet in the realm of celebrity-linked apocalypse scenarios?

Charlie Sheen turns out to actually be a bitchin' rock star warlock from Mars with magic and poetry in his fingertips, fire-breathing fists, an army of assassins, tiger blood and Adonis DNA.

And he is not amused.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
