 [CRITICAL FAILURE: 1] The Red Mage misses completely. Instead the fireball bounces back and strikes him in the shoulder.
((fyi, I usually do combat rolls with a 1d10. 1 is crit fail and 10 is crit success. For other rolls I roll a 1d100.))

 Startled, I rapidly turn to face him... and slam into a wall.

 Ouch.

  Looking up from the floor at his amused smirk, I grumble "Where did you... agh. As for your question, it's probably either trouble or something that is going to lead to trouble.". I get up and resume to my destination, not bothering to see if that prick is following.

  My concerns are heightened when I hear yelling and... fireballs? ON THE SHIP?! I'm going to give whoever that guy is a piece of my mind. Who does he think is going to have to fix that?
