Acetone, found in many cheap nail removers and possibly also in hardware stores, can be used to dissolve most types of glue. Useful if you get glue on a spot it doesn't belong or if you superglue your fingers together. Be warned though, it also messes with lacquer finishes and most types of plastic.

If you're ever find yourself being exposed to chlorine gas for whatever reason, you're going to want to cover your mouth and nose and try not to breath any of it in. Then find a cloth of some kind, and cover it with a water like liquid. Or if you're not a complete pansy, pee on the cloth and hold it up to your face. When the chlorine makes contact with the urine soaked cloth, it will turn into dichloro urea which isn't deadly.

Did your post originally not have the struck out portion? I was going to say something about it.

Useful thing to know:
Anything can be disputed.

Nah that was there. And to avoid a circle of self-disputing-supporting facts, tide comes in and time comes out.

You CANNOT explain that!

Bill lost his head, and thus the arguement. . . he flew off.  He was two steps short of a FCC fine.

The one method I've found for curing hiccups that actually works, and works immediately (and it works really well):

-Get a glass of water
-Get someone else to hold your tragus over your auditory meatus on each ear
--that is, get someone to hold the sticky-out bit of your ear over the nearby earhole on each ear
-drink water while your ears are being held shut like this

To halt a sneeze, say pineapple over and over under your breath. Works for ~70% of people who tried it.

Alternatively, close your nose and mouth. Easier.
