You cannot combine Cthulluverse from what I am guessing they want from Anime
Ahem.
It isn't what I mean. You cannot combine something that is by all means supposed to be thematically Cthulhu flavored and keep it action oriented.
Many settings included Lovecraftian gods either dirrectly (Such as Conan) or indirrectly (Shuma Goriath in Marvel), yet they rarely keep the basic principles because they are so fundemental and so changing.
You cannot be ontop of anything in Cthulhu. It is about being small, about being helpless, about needing to do everything you possibly can do and more just to make sure everything doesn't go bad. The only reason Earth isn't destroyed is mostly because no one cares and the only ones who do care are beings who are using humans or enjoying their misery.
Also to quote the site.
Through the unorthodox blending of arcane principles with modern science, Humanity has created an inexhaustible power source that has revolutionized the world.
Ohhh? So humanity is using magic wholesale now? Magic that is likely given to us by Yog-Sothoth the god of magic itself and also one of the major old ones who is the master of all space and time huh?
Magic is just that safe and easy huh. I know that safe magic existed in the cthulhu universe but those always blended with spiritualism and hintest at the possibility of there being something more.

ADMITTINGLY I sort of like the idea of a setting in the last days of the human race. (Since the Future Great Race of Yith didn't come into play until humanity were dead)
Though they are sooo doomed. Facing the Dreaming God in a fully realised form and not a half asleep state.
Also I admit the setting would be more awsome in videogame format. There is just soo much Cthulhu forces can do that would make the game as much about combat as it is about just trying to mess over your opponent. Just having a large force ready but Hounds of Tartaros eat all of your crew (since there is no real way to stop them) would be pretty devistating.

Also I am interested, but I'd like to know the times.
