Kay! If anyone else wants to chip in they have until sometime tomorrow. The Clan base will probably be in babel as I remembered you don't sign up for the clan at their clan base, it's just a base. It only has benefits if you "nest" in one of the alignment cities but we've been over why that's an issue.

Gettin on for a bit too.

Guild made! The name could only have 8 letters so we just went with Armokian. As a label of sorts, it kind've works pretty well as a title.

If you log on and aren't a member of the guild I'll probably be pestering you about it, so be ready!

EDIT: As a note this is one of those games with guilds that actually have statistical benefits so I'll go over them sometime and how we get them.

Err. Quickly, think of something to say so Seriyu doesn't have to triple post!

I hate Inugami with the fury of a thousand suns. I don't care if you grab electricity, that doesn't help when you're melee and they move around in groups! *tries to fight a lone inugami* *another spawns directly behind me* They are literally 90% of all my deaths.

One thing I noticed while running around is that a lot of summoned demons don't seem to be treated very well (a lot of "Used like a slave" and "Is plotting against"). Is there some sort of in-game benefit to this?

It'd probably help if I didn't respond to every post that shows up it seems like but that's my fault and I ain't stoppin it any time soon. :P

And yeah, Inugami are one of the most agressive demons in the game. There are a few others that get up there, like Bucca-Boo and such. If you're doing the act quest that involves killing one, you might look along the path to suginami tunnels. One spawns there every now and then, but it's also inexperienced, so that might throw a wrench into things too.

And nope, but often times people won't bother using their care action for the day on demons that they're training up to pass skills on to, or just demons they don't intend to keep. It's actually a bad thing, it lowers the demons stats by quite a bit. Likewise a demon liking you raises the stats by a decent amount. But them being unhappy doesn't hurt the fusion result at all, as they don't inherit stats, only skills, and if you've got a demon that's already happy with you and you use care on it, it'll give you a free item, sometimes a very valuble one for higher end demons.

Hmm. Have a second account so I might play around with other builds on it. Maybe a pure sharpshooter/gunner

Okay, let's get going over clan benefits.

As characters in the clan level up/as the amount of time they're logged in grows, the clan gains levels. The clan also seems to give you a passive buff to MP and maybe some other stats if you're on the same map as other clan members.

Level 1: Dance Emote. You get this when you make a clan, no muss no fuss.
Level 2: All members aquire +5% exp
         - Members aquire +5% expertise
Level 3: You can display and edit clan emblems
         - +1 phys and magic def
         - +1 Luck
Level 4: +10 max HP
         - +5 Max MP
         - New clan emblems
Level 5: Clan name above your head changes to orange. Strictly for E-cred.
         - +1 phys and magic defense
         - +1 Luck
Level 6: +5% exp
         - +5% expertise
         - Yet more clan emblems become available
Level 7: +3 Magic (the stat)
         - +5 Max MP
Level 8: More clan emblems.
         - +3 Speed
Level 9: +3 Str
         - +10 Max HP
Level 10: Clan name changes to green. More E-Cred.
         - +5% exp
         - +5 expertise

In total:
15% XP and Expertise
2 Physical Defense and Magic Defense
20 MAX HP and 10 MAX MP
2 Luck
3 Magic
3 Speed
3 Strength

So it's a neat little boost, but not mega important. Do keep in mind 3 speed or strength is basically a level's worth of stats later on. Likewise 2 of the defenses is 20 vit or 20 int. So that's a pretty big chunk.

So yes, it boils down to the fact that the more members we have in guild the faster we'll get all the neat stuff.

And more stuff aaaaaa, as we did in mabinogi, I'm gonna be inviting randoms (well behaved randoms only, don't you worry) into the guild, and I've found one. Just making sure everyone is okay with this policy before I invite them. Got until tomorrow yadda yadda.

Check! And yeah, that's exactly it. More people from B12 will probably show up over time, but I doubt we'd break 15 if we were lucky.

Well now I just need Makanda stones for Magic control... although unless I get them from a player or luck out on a demon quest that looks to be a bit of a pain.

Those are from Omoikane right? I can run celu tower a few times (wanna come with?) and take out omoikane. He seems fairly scary but he's honestly a pretty big wuss. Weakness to physical will do that.

EDIT: Incidentally I'm inviting the random today so if you see them doing anything absolutely bonkers (I forsee no issues but just in case), let me know and I will deal with it.
