In that case, I'll jump on in about ten minutes. And I saw SirAaron's post, thanks :)

Gotcha! Add Bariaus when you hop on and everything'll be in order!

EDIT: Okay, we're good.

Think I'm gonna go a demolition dash swordsman. Maybe have a crafter alt after a bit.

EDIT: Well that was an inauspicious return. 30 minutes of stuttering and freezing even at lowest and off settings. Then disconnected and can't reconnect.

I feel like the fates are sending me a message.

I will say I have literally never had latency issues with the game, even shortly before the server disconnected, so it's probably not that at least. Could it be a port issue? Hmmmm.

EDIT: Seems that running the game at a lower resolution helps a lot. I've also seen one report that lowering the settings seemed to make it worse.

Its odd because I used to run the game perfectly, I think. Maybe there were just too many people around since it was Sunday afternoon.

IGN is Alluruna, by the way (I think thats how I spelled it?)

Check! Are you on now? I can getcha now if so. I'm not on, but I'm not doing anything important either.

And yeah, heavily populated areas like suginami and Shinjuku Babel do tend to get pretty choppy even on high end hardware, especially when loading the area for the first time.

Double post because important. What clan name do we have, and do we want the clan based in Shinjuku Babel or Home III. We could also have it in arcadia/Souzanhan but those are kind've hard for new people to get into, and are alignment restricted, so I'd rather not. Maybe in the future.

Benefits of Home III: It's the starting area, easy to get to right off of the bat.

Benefits of Shinjuku Babel: It's basically the hub of the game, and has paths to every area.

We also need a name, please please please do not just make it "the 12th bay" or "boatmurdered" or whatever.I don't mind if it's related to DF, but please don't make it that blatent. An example name from earlier in the thread that was a good example was Armokian Revelry. Bonus points if you can make the name somehow related to SMT and DF at the same time.

There are clan benefits as a note, including increased exp and such as the clan levels, so it's good to get into it early. Speak your mind!

I don't suppose SMT has any treasure-seeking demons in it? Bonus points if they actually look somewhat dwarfy.

Either that or something to do with cats.

Well they're all fairly accurate to their mythological equivelents, barring a few, and there are actual dwarves in the game too. The only cat I can think of is Nekomata and that is sort've a different bag. Cait Sith are kind've. There are some elephant demons, Ganesha and Girimehkala and such. There's an "earth element" category of demon to boot, admittantly most of them are of the asian variety (Hua Po, Kodama, Sudama, etc.). There's Knockers, I suppose, along with dwarves.

There's a big ole list of demons with their in game models and classifications here, if you'd like to do some research. :P

Doublepost again because I dunno, me and SirAaron are getting on if you people would like to do some dungeon runs or whathaveyou. With 3-4 people we could probably take on a more advanced dungeon then celu or suginami.

Well I hit twelve last night. Damage output is kinda sad though. Might spend a little time today grinding expertise to unlock demolition dash and fudging about with demons.

Never a bad idea, you'll ideally want to get all the skills you don't max where they're supposed to be before you hit level 30, so you can level them off with a free water.

Also I'm thinking of Just using Armokian Revelry for the guild name, since you can choose to display either the guild name or your personal title, and obviously most people will pick the title. So the guild name isn't tooooo important.

Does anyone mind this?
