Downloaded and extracted DF, obviously I didnt have the 32 bit libraries. After trying every solution I searched for, I always got the same issue. Can't find the 32 bit libraries, and this is of course with the terminal. Software Center provides no help either. Running 64 bit (obviously) ubuntu

Also when I do sudo apt-cache search ia32 I find nothing.

If you look on dffd some nice fellow made an installer it will install all librarys needed to run it as well tilesets and df hack too  i broke down and did this after i could not get the sound to work

The sound should work after this one. Mind, I do not use sound in DF so I cannot verify.

Still not working, just refuses to give me the libraries in any form. Can anyone like, upload the correct libraries?

You have to run DF from the terminal and install what it says it can't find.  I'd use Synaptic Package Manager because the library names might be different and you might have to dig a bit to find the right ones.

There is a readme file in the DF folder that tells you what libraries you need:

* GTK+ 2+
* SDL 1.2+
* SDL_image
* libgl
* libglu

And IIRC you'll probably need an SDL TTF package too.  Search for 'libsdl' in synaptic.

If you really can't get it to run, post the error message here so someone can check it out.  If all else fails, you can run DF on linux using the terminal display by opening the data/init/init,txt file and changing the PRINT_MODE to [PRINT_MODE:TEXT]
