I love how people seem to think that all of Europe is one big hivemind or something.  I mean, there's that whole EU thing, but the member countries are rather diverse and each have different laws and cultures.

That's... kinda' hilariously untrue. If it were even remotely accurate, you'd be seeing the same level of illegal gun violence (read: violence via stolen weapons) in switzerland that you do in the states. Which, you don't. They've got fairly decent gun control policy over there, even with the high ownership levels, and more importantly a quite vastly different societal situation. The state's practices are... somewhat notably worse.

While speaking with Fox New's Neil Cavuto, Huckabee answered the question, "How could God let this happen?" by saying, "We've systematically removed God from our schools. Should we be so surprised that schools have become a place for carnage because we've made it a place where we don't want to talk about eternity, life, responsibility, accountability?"

Before this nonsense I actually kind of liked him.  I disagreed with him a lot, but he was always polite when he debated people, and seemed at least a little bit reasonable.  I can't forgive him for that kind of statement though.

I don't know if he's made such statements in the past, I'm just remarking on the few time's I've seen him on TV in the past.
