I'm back, I'm back. I had a busy day, that's all. 

The tribe expands their fishing ground a bit, finding that the lake near the standing rocks is a good fishing ground. Some of the members begin to experiment with leather-working. Simple pouches, bags, belts begin to appear in common usage! Ramar takes up his duties as a warrior, and offers to help his peers gain mastery. Most of them do not appreciate this offer, and a few are rather insulted, but they get over it and things go on. Akturas further develops his magic, and manages to manipulate the weather! He finds that he can cause clouds to rain. In the process, he also develops a technique for boosting his speed. After an impressive Swoop-Hunt and some aerial mischief, the belittling stops. Quinn Develops a written language! Simple writing begins to adorn the village. Grewol develops an effective stone thrower! Unfortunately, due to the fact that spears are more easily thrown from the air, it sees little use. Still, a few of the warriors that prefer to hunt from beneath the great forest take them up.

I'll keep researching, specifically trying to take specimens of various plants and trying to find names and classifications for all of them, as well as trying to keep a written log of any unusual properties they have. If possible, test lesser-known plants for said effects.

While I was writing down some stories I just heard on a stone tablet, a warm spark came out of one of the stone tools and landing on some wood. It eventually became warm but also damaging if your try to touch this liquid heat. This reaction was later named fire.
