For those who can't see it in a theatre, here's a bootleg version.

Not that it isn't appreciated, but that seems incredibly illegal. >_______>

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Still not sure how they're going to stretch the material to three movies, though it's lovely to see Ian McKellen Gandalf it up again.

Drinking game: take a shot of vodka every time you think the translation isn't accurate.

You will probably run out of vodka at the first minute.

Can I call an ambulance before I start?

Crap, someone knows his address ? I don't want to be sued again for letting someone watch such a dangerous video. I think we still have time for the ambulance to rescue him.

No, I already visited the ER today as an indirect consequence of too much drinking. I don't want to pay a visit to the morgue, too :P

I finally saw the Hobbit the other day and enjoyed it overall. I couldn't help but think how terribly the dwarf fortress was designed though. All open concept, no marksdwarves, main entrance was a stone door... like seriously.
