I'm left-handed and I was recently reminded of two things that have annoyed me.

SDL, or possibly xlib, has a bug that can cause games to ignore my mouse button settings. I played Terraria for the first time yesterday and it also has this problem, although for some other reason as Terraria doesn't use SDL and I played it in Windows where SDL doesn't have the bug.

Secondly, games tend to use their own custom look for the mouse pointer and these are usually based on the common up and left pointing arrow. When I use the mouse in my left hand I prefer the mouse pointer to point to the right instead, but I don't think I've ever seen a game that allows that.

Another thing I remember now, after playing Skyward Sword I was surprisingly bothered by Link having been turned right-handed for the convenience of righties. I hadn't thought it would matter to me.

As for wasd, I can do it both ways but I've never tried it cross armed. Though, I've never really liked left hand on wasd because the W key isn't properly aligned to the ASD keys for that.

Amen to both of those.  The "W" key is not in a good place.

Another leftie here. We are the chosen! Chosen to have grey smudges on the page for the rest of eternity.

Speaking of which, do any of y'all use pens without getting it all smudged?
I can't even write legibly with a pen.  :-\

My writing is fine, it just comes with a pen-colored tint across most of the page.

Use an ink that dries quickly. Most good ballpoints are fine to me. I use a $4 parker pen usually, no smudge.

Funny thing is, I have problems with ballpoints, because I'm not used to the 'writing utensil' not really having any friction.  It's really weird.

I think that's ballpoints, I may be thinking of a different kind of pen.  I tend to avoid 'em in general.  I love being able to erase my shit.

It doesn't matter for me. My handwriting is unreadable to most people anyway.

Ugh, yeah, the smudging. We should all just switch to Arabic.

How would Calligraphy help smudging?

Oh... right... to... left... I'm... right.  Gotcha.

Calligraphy is fucking hardball though.

I'm right-handed !

But I can do a lot of things with my left hand, it's surprisingly dexterous. Or, more exactly, I'm equally bad with both hands :p

I also have a hard time figuring out where is left and where is right - it doesn't come instantly. As a kid I sometimes got it wrong, and even now I have to think for a second before remembering which is which ("I write with my right, what's left is my left" is super helpful for that). Does anybody else have that problem ?

Nope, because I used that trick you mentioned and just got used to it!
You'd think that would come back to bite me now, but I guess not. :)

I had trouble with that too.  At 8 years old I kept the backs of my hands labelled R and L for like a year.  That fixed the problem.

I started ambidextrous with a lean towards left handed, but I write left handed only because my teacher thought I was a demon child and made me pick a hand. She wasn't happy I chose left, either.
