It looked like a great proposition until I found some info about the system in the net. TR-12 is so isolated and dirt poor that Empire gave them independence just to get rid of them.

That's all?  What about all that private companies? I sent my resume  to every corporation and they aren't interested. What the hell?

Now I need to choose from three crappy variants

Oh, UR.  You silly, silly man.  Never let Bay12 choose anything.

But, yeah.  I figure it being small could work for us.  We do really well, we get noticed by other systems.  We don't need to stick with them forever, just until some rival system that is a bit better off makes us a competing offer.  And so on.

Basically: Bespoke engineer, cog in the bureaucracy, or high risk high workload high yield work.
