a dwarven trade caravan has come. I wonder what goods they have

not much happening. Dwarvs in the fort needs new cloths so i got what ever weaver we had working on that.
the rollercoaster is going as planned for now

i have not gotten to realy test out the spinning death trap with a siege so i am sending in a test subject in see how hard a gold mine cart hits

The overseer shuddered as she assumed her new position of athourity. The cold seemed to drain these dwarves of their very will to survive. Unemployment afflicted the masses. Booze stocks were running low. The dwarves were too sluggish to bother to pick their dirty clothes of the floor of their rooms. She worried if the cold was going to afflict her too.

The new year was marked by one of the faithful war hounds immediately expiring from age. An omen to mark the beginning of her charge, though what it signaled, she was not sure. She would consult the magic, floating stones. Hopefully they would guide her in the right direction.

She goes to them. They will know the way.
