It's the only generic equip card that is remotely playable, and it's still not good enough that any top decks use it.

Doesn't mean its not used in such a manner that you will take 4000 a turn.

Well yeah it's good at making you win more when you're already winning.  It's not very good if you're behind or neck and neck.

Most equip cards suffer the same weaknesses (there are some archetype specific ones that don't, but I think this applies to all "generic" equip cards):
- They only work if you already have a fairly strong monster around, meaning they can easily end up dead in difficult situations.
- Your opponent can use one card to destroy your monster and your equip card, meaning they usually put you behind in terms of cards.
- MST can be used to make your monster commit suicide.
- Equip cards cannot be activated during your opponent's turn and thus don't have the same defensive value as traps or quickplay spells (eg Forbidden Lance).  This means they lack flexibility.

So basically a decent trap, card remover or monster would usually be a better thing to have than an equip card.

I wish there was someway we could make our own stuff and put it into the game. I used to do this quite often using Paint and Google Image search / screen shot ability.

I made an Age of Wonders - Shadow Magic Deck once. Featuring Steam Tanks, Human Infantry, Node Field cards, spells etc. combo'd quite well iirc without being OP.

My friend (the one who played with all those op bant cards) also did this, but as expected he basically made his deck redic op... sigh
