im working on it but its soo hard the 10 ghosts are driveing our one living vampire mad im stil trying to get him unsealed ill have a post later today around noon est

Ghost Dwarf Oranos, Journal 1st Granite year 555

     Gods of my forefathers Overseer Laularu Kyrumo was truly insane he doomed us all every Dwarf, woman and child died my wife ... my son ... and me..... i bet your wondering how im writing this if im dead well for my sins i was cursed to return here to this gods forsaken fortress as a ghost stuck here till dwarfs can live here in safety. I have a feeling im going to be stuck here along time. Laularu Kyrumo left this place a death trap and even worse his last act was to try and free the damned vampire that had been sealed in the lower levels of the fortress.

 10th Granite

     After looking over the fortress i find that im not the only ghost but i am the only one still in my right mind. I have found the vampire to surprisingly be good company she's not bad long as she keeps her unholy cravings for blood under control and with no living dwarf here it seems best to free her maybe she can help me get this cursed place under control.

12th Granite

     Damn the ghost of Monom the Herbalist is attacking the vampire i can only hope she lives.

13th Granite

     Blast Monom ripped off the vampire's right upper leg so shes going nowhere now i can only hope she heals enaf to move because with the stars sealed off and goblins at the gate with trolls i see no way to save the old fort maybe when the migrants come we can build anew near by if ones a miner if not there doomed.

[ok guys what do i do now every ones dead but the legless vampire that cant move 1/2 the fort is blocked off. the 1/2 that is int is filled with trolls and the gates have goblins camped out in front so unless one of the migrants comes with a pick so they can dig a new home near thew old fort i don't know how to keep going. (suggestions would be really helpful if any ones got an idea besides abandoning and reclaiming. so please help)]

I swore I'd already released the vampire and started digging. Odd. I even managed to get access to the farms and seal them off from the trolls.

Savescum and try again? Priority number one isn't actually rebuilding the fort, it's building slabs for the murderous ghosts. You can look at them in the units list, and if it lists them as sadistic, murderous or the like, have them slabbed immediately. And be prepared for more to rise.

You mean our sole survivor is a one legged vampire bleeding to death in the middle of a farm surrounded by vengeful ghosts?

Oh, and there's still a siege on.

go for it i tryed 5 times the probim is stone theres not enaf in the part of the fort the vamp is in to slab the ghosts and she digs so slow the ghosts chah up with her and kill her befor she digs out enaf to slab more i count find away around it so i with you luck

Glad to see that this fort is still living (technically).

Front Page is updated, positions of overseers have been changed, Journal Entries have been linked, Quotes have been added.

Hope everything goes well (we are at least gonna reclaim this fort if the vampire dies).

Journal of Glloyd Wallmirrors.

After days of hiding under that rotting pile of corpses, I felt the need to venture out into the fortress. Surely I couldn't be the only survivor, there had to be others like me. Also, my supply of food was starting to run out...

Sneaking up the stairs past the flooded area, I noticed a group of trolls patrolling the lower hallways.

Journal of the Wrongfully Imprisoned Dwarf Dobar


They called me a vampire, they laughed at me and locked me away, but look who's alive now?! JUST LOOK. I've dug out a small passage to the farms, and walled myself off from those filthy goblins and trolls. But the ghosts of those who tortured me still haunt this forlorn place. They are impeding my revenge! I'll have to settle them somehow...


((OOC)): So there it is. The first update. Really, there's trolls crawling over the fort. There's only the one ghost in my play, and it's a vengeful dwarven baby ghost. Cool... So, it has been slabbed. I'm about a month in so far, and he's eking out some sort of existence. I'll keep playing, and I'll be sure to post if anything substantial happens.

On a second note, why have you dug out a passage to the farms... you dont need food/booze for a vampire

by the way, dont sieges go away eventually? i mean, once you drop under a certain number of dwarves, they wont show up. So, worst case scenario, we wait out the siege and clean up the fort once we actually get some more dwarves.
