[Rendell]

Excerpt from "Chief Cook" Overseer Rendell's Journal: Last Entry

I write these words with the last of what's left of my failing strength, Its been weeks since Ive been locked in the arena without food or water.. Its not like they cant drop down food and booze from the Grand-hall above, but many of my fellow dwarfs seem to think this is part of a elaborate act on my part. "BY ARMOK'S BEARD IM NOT ACTING YOU STUPID TWIT, IM STUCK IN HERE AND THE DOORS LOCKED, I NEED FOOD AND DRINK!" But they give me a knowing wink and a nod and wander off with a grin on the faces.

So here I leave my the last will and testament before I stave to death.
I leave any possession I happen to own to my ungrateful wife and 3 children.. the little snots.
I leave my weapons and armour to the next commander of the watch, which I hope he will name a squad after me by the name of "Rendell's Raiders"

From the sounds from the great-hall a new overseer has been elected.. Javier.. at least the fortress will have a strong leader, if he fails in his new task I'll haunt him even if I have to come back to hell itself.....

Hmm, that dead goblin over there seems to start looking rather tasty.

It really was hard to care, at least he was buried though, but the mayor will take his room for awhile until I can find/make  a room for him

Journal of Artimaus: Miner

     I have had a dream. A dream of being placed in a position of power. Disaster strikes in the form of water flooding the dining room and the death of a fellow miner. The strangest part was near the end our fortress drifted off into limbo; when the gods left for something called Christmas. I think this bodes ill omen for our fort. I fear for our lives.

At first it seems it was the VGA, but my little bro playing LoL seems to have fried the old video card
