I'm thinking of closing this RTD down and putting up a non-minimalist RTD.

Roll to Dodge: Cops and Robbers.

This is for 8 players. There are 4 cops and 4 robbers.

How a cop wins: A cop wins by getting promoted. This happens by getting one or more arrest. More arrests mean you get a higher chance of getting promoted

How a criminal wins: A criminal wins by getting and keeping $5000 in cash.

Ways to lose: Dieing causes you to auto-lose. Cops also lose if they get arrested or suspended. Robbers can also lose if they are convicted for over a year or if they have negative money, or if they violate probation.

What happens if you win or lose: You get congratulated, you get put on the winners list, and someone on the waitlist takes your place. If you lose, you are put on the lose list and a guy from the waitlist takes over.

Start with:
Cops:
1 handgun
1 pair of handcuffs
$100 at start
$10 salary paid every turn
1 police car
1 radio

Robbers:
1 crowbar
1 backpack
1 special item
1 skimask
$50
1 skill (+1 to certain rolls)
1 flaw (-1 to certain rolls)

Afiliations
Cops
Detective: Ordered to burglary sites occasionally.
Security Guard: Guards important stuff to stop it being stolen.
Officer: drives around mostly. Ordered to help other people catch robbers.

Criminals
Freelance: no obligations, but no help
Streetgang: lots of obligations, but lots of aid
Yakuza: access to Japanese weapons. Get money from obligations. They may help you get out of jail or they might decide to kill you or take some of your money.
Mafia: same as Yakuza (without Japanese weapons), but you get access to smuggled weapons that are normally illegal

Hidden characteristics: Can be corrupt cop helping criminals or undercover cop posing as a criminal. These you PM to me. Also, if your caught, you will likely lose.

Place of access
Cops: Police station, Donut shop.
Robbers: Gunstore
Gang hangout (not for freelance)

What money can be used for
Cops can give out money for information or an arrest. Also for gas
Robbers use money to buy equipment, guns, and ammo. Also for bribes, and to pay bail.

Arrested means you are handcuffed. When you are arrested, you go through the courts system:
1.   Charge Count
2.   Bail hearing
3.   Pay bail and be free for 3 turns before:
4.   Trial, or you just remain free
5.   Sentence (if served), go free on probation, or found not guilty and go free

If arrested on probation, you lose.

Slip plans for teleportation devices to a major corporation. They create an exact duplicate of the person at the other end, but trap the mind of the person in between dimensions. This is a fate worse than death. Then, um...what are Fates supposed to do?

(4) Major corporation working on a teleporter. Expect completion in (5) turns. (2) No one heard your question.
