Roughly 48 hours before the game starts. Also please keep in mind that the map is chosen semi-randomly for Random Damnation and it is not entirely "story heavy". For those interested in the lore I'm thinking maybe doing a Doppleganger civil war motif that the majority of the world is unaware of.

Anyway there will be several maps of random size that will be chosen from randomly.

Team Composition, health and such are below. PM where you want your units to start and I will reveal turn order [which you can probably gather from the picture] Game starts on Monday or whenever people get done PMing where there stuff will go. Good luck and have fun. There will be little flavor at this time because I'm a bit busy. Flavor will start when the game does.

Sorry if the flavor isn't up to snuff. If you have suggestions for better flavor feel free to request it: ALSO!!! If you want FLUFF NOTES for your army just tell me your armies back-round. I can incorperate whatever you want.

How can one be sure of what is real and what isn’t? It’s simple really. What one knows is real! What one doesn’t know is false until it is learned. Maybe it’s the other way around though? Maybe we create a fantasy world and call it real? Until recently I have been under the impression that a man’s form is relatively the same through-out his life. Sure there are small changes such as a new beard, a lost limb, changing hair colour. Recently however I was forced to confront the stark “reality” that certain men change. Nightly it would appear. I have observed the army passing through my lands with a blaise amusement. Wars are no stranger here. But what was odd was what happened that night, just as the moon rose.
I decided to inquire into the reason the passer-throughs were heading to war. I foolishly believed that perhaps they had decided to lay claim to the land over the ridge. I was about half-way to their camp when it happened. With an almost strange grace they began to convulse as though they were being beaten with hammers from all angles, only no noise was coming from them. I thought perhaps the Red Grip had found the entire army. Within minutes however each and every man had become an entirely different man! I may be a little uneasy but I shall do my best to describe the transformation:
One gentleman, the leader I believe, had his rough and gaunt features transform into an odd mimicry of a large heavy-set man in his late fourties. One man split straight down his middle as his features turned more feral and green! But the most frightening was when four men were drawn together with an unholy design and morphed, before my eyes, into a demon from the depths of hell themselves! I fled but… One of them spotted me. He easily out-paced me and then… Well I was surprised to say the least.
He appeared to be searching for something. At first he spoke some ethereal language that I cannot seem to recall in any manner. However as time passed he began mimicking my own language. “Rosphorus Dillis Hills?” I did not understand so he spoke again “Have you seen others of my kind in these hill?” I slowly shook my head. He sighed before his booming voice washed over me again “Very well. Do you know of any armies who may also be in this area?”
I replied yes and he grinned “Where at?” after giving him his directions I stopped him “What are you?”
He seemed confused “I am… Something. I do not truly know. I believe I am a man again. Just yesterday I was from the eastern slopes. The day before that I was a dog… It’s been so long I do not recall what I truly am.” When questioned about his goals he seemed more sure “I seek to end these hellish transformations… Our god, the wise and powerful Hristis, cursed our kind when grew too used to abusing his gift of shape-shifting… Now we transform nightly… Only to reclaim our true forms when only one of us remains… Your silence speaks volumes human… Human yes? They all look similar… Regardless… I work with them to increase my chances of success… I heard of four other armies heading this way… Hopefully this charade will be over soon. Please… If you have any family nearby have them leave the area. As you can see we often take… dark forms against our will.”
I have no idea what I did to deserve such hallucinations but… I agreed to this figments wishes and decided to remove my family from the area. Hopefully they will begone within the fortnight. –Lord Jouy Hawkfeather

To the outside world most of the battles and wars fought in Centria are for petty reasons such as money or glory. To the Dopplegangers of the world, however, there is a greater prize at stake. Long ago the god Hristis gave the Dopplegangers the power to shift their forms. However they soon abused this power and forgot their original forms. To punish them for forgetting his greatest creation he doomed them to kill each-other until only one remained. From the survivor would arise a new race of Dopplegangers. For millennia entire armies of Dopplegangers have fought for the prize of being the new stemplate of the race. Alliances forged between them to offer a greater chance. Now however their numbers dwindle. Whereas centuries ago nations would shake with the weight of Doppleganger wars there is now only a brief rustle among leaves as the last known Dopplegangers in Centria have met to finally draw this racial conflict to a close. There will be no retreat. There will be only one survivor. Let the battle begin!

"Take your disguises," stated the head doppelganger.
They all did, faking the forms of various members of the exiled Wyrmadonian king's forces.
Two became a mated pair of goblins, two of the king's scouts and spies. A pair took the form of two defectors from the forces of the violent warlord Grek, recently decided to be safe. Two others took the forms of a massive ogre and a pious cleric. The leader and second-in-command took the shapes and faces of the king's favored advisors, Sir Drakoniss the warrior and Archemist Andrew the alchemist.
"This will not be an easy battle," stated the leader, "but we are being paid well to imply the exile's hatred of doppelgangers, and the remainder of the prize seals the deal. Onward, men!"

"You know what to do. We're here because they're here. Kill them all. If they fight back, fight harder. If they retreat, plant arrows in their backs. If they cower, roar like a mighty animal. Take hold of your future above all else!"

With a rallying cry, Tsuchi's men took various forms, becoming a mismatched but powerful gaggle of creatures.

"Remember, total war! Burn the earth you step upon, poison the water you stand near, and smoke out the very sun in the sky!"

It was a simple idea, that if two could become one, that perhaps all could become one. This community had hidden themselves away and hoped to be beyond the conflicts of others, seeking a way to combine their intore race into a single being. To end the need for this war.
They had hid as long as they were able, but clues had been given, and the search had attracted others. Soon a great battle had assembled, and no basement or cavern would keep them, or it, safe. The battle was joined in the unity forms they had most recently been investigating. They arrayed themselves in formation, and prepared to face the worst.

Peter look round the field. four of his men had become two elephant, one disappear but he could still feel him or was it her? Being a doppleganger always made that hard to keep straight. One last one had become a necromancer. Fate thought she was being funny and made him a paladin. A paladin and a necromancer in the same army? Peter shook his head and gave his orders.
