Turn 5: A stand to escape
No one knew what came over the sky blue Unicorn as she stopped her tour for awhile, but as she enters the forest alone, she attemps to find the shooting star that fell... but as she went deeper and deeper into the forest, she finds a battle between Golems, or rather one Dragon-like Golem and 2 Humanoid-like Golems, with another Dragon-like Golem floating above them and a mysterious ship, as if he's waiting for something. Keeping herself concealed from the chaos she watches the fight from her spot... why are they fighting? Was the shooting star really the ship, or is it something else altogether?
Lester begins to focus all the Point Defence guns at Gafran A, maybe if one gun didn't work, more Dakka'll make it expire (4+1 vs 2-1). The Gafran had no idea what hit it, despite being dizzy from it's crash, it started to take some notiable Wear and Tear, holes being made in it's defences. In fact the Alpha Strike of CIWS guns all at once started to create several holes in the armor, not quite enough to blow it up due to most of the shots going all over the place. On the bright side, the endless amounts of CIWS Fire, while not quite as good as the other weapons, did knock it around enough that the next hit would either disable it, or finish it off.
Vladamir meanwhile, takes as much time as he needs to figure out clues to what's scribbled onto the Blueprints (4+1) discovering an idea as to what these Blueprints pertain to, despite the scribbled on Blueprints: The one with the Cloudsdale Graffti on it seems to be an exotic unit, some form of unit with a face on it. In fact, as Vladamir marks up the Blueprints to get some sort of contiunity on it, it seems to be identified as "Lagann", whatever it is. Cloudsdale however seems to be lost to him... if only he had some kind of reference book of sorts...
As for the other two Blueprints, Vladamir holds up the Blood-soaked Blueprint to the lights (5+1) and somehow he visualized what should be there, also taking in the fact that it is a Remote Weapon, he concluded this is a Giant Bit-based Backpack, ment to be fitted over a Mobile Suit to give it the ability to launch Wired Bit attacks from the Backpack for long-ranged attacks.
Finally, while there was no scribblings and markings on the Sutherland's Blueprint (3+2) the connection between the name "Celestia" and the decapitated Winged Unicorn implies that Celestia is the name of the Winged Unicorn that it seems some of the crew hated. Marcus' other fact of the shattered Winged Unicorn statue ment it was a symbolic speech to make but... for what he does not know.
Vladamir, since taming the Baby Dragon, seems to be in his Zone in this case, so the bonus is for him taking additional time when not under pressure (despite the fighting outside and Alarms blaring). The additional bonus is for taking in a previous fact, that is the broken statue of the Winged Unicorn, and using it to connect the two.
While Vladamir is Identifying the Blueprints, Keiram launches from the Catapult without a hitch (somehow considering they're the only living beings within who knows how far) begins to evade the friendly fire from the Alpha Strike and fires at the Gafran using the Rifle in hopes of finishing it off (5 vs 1), and gets his finishing shot as he desired... unfortinatly, to prevent anyone from taking advantage of the materials they'd gain from scrapping the Gafran, the defeated Gafran blows up to smitherines, leaving only Scrap Metal.
Marcus in the meantime attacks at the other Gafran who's trying to scan more of the ship to get info with the Beam Rifle (5 vs 2-1) and while it's no DODS rifle, it left a mark on the Right Arm. In the meantime, the Remote Slasher starts attacking the Vines binding the ship down (6) and overdoes it, not only purging the Nahal Argama of the Vines binding it down... but also cuts down one of the trees in the forest, causing it to fall. Marcus can hear the sound of a woman screaming as a blue Magic Aura appears around the tree, straightening it out... is there someone around? No matter, he has bigger things to deal with, and the Veigan Machine is what he's dealing with now.
Kenji, starting to feel the rush, felt something awakening in him as he fires the Linear Rifle at the scanning Gafran (4 vs 2-1), hitting it in the Stomach equivant hard. The Gafran interrupts the Scan, stopping the gather info mission and switching to Survival at all costs, countering with the Beam Gattling Guns (4 vs 4+1), though the Enact barely evades though all that gunfire.
Kenji awakens the Hot Blood Spirit Command, steping up Damage by 1 step, though unlike in the real Super Robot Taisen games, these are on a Cooldown system. As a reminder, this Spirit Command can only be used once every 10 turns, so make it count. By the way, Gafran B is taking a Dodge Penality due to it being dedicated to scanning the Nahal Argama until it has what it's here for, whatever it is.
The Gafran, damaged and disrupted by the Linear Rifle, flies up to the Enact to get some revenge, this time using the Beam Saber (5 v 4+1), though Kenji manages to use the Plasma Sword to stop the enemy's attack right in it's tracks.
With the Nahal Argama free, you can now attempt to make a run for it, or you can stay and fight off the Gafran...
1x Genoace, 1x Enact (damaged to the face)
For "Stuffing someone in an Evangelion when it's complete" you can use anyone for the Soul part. Once you find your way to civilization, you can also sucker someone into getting in the Evangelion once you have all the parts you need, just don't do anything stupid with this fact. For Unit parts, keep in mind that if you scrap the Genoace to get additional Mobile Suit parts, there's a chance you only get Genoace parts, which can only be used to repair, or build another Genoace... though you may have a chance to get a Custom Genoace if you're willing to try. If you find someone willing to trade Genoace parts on the other hand... As a note, (Unit Class) Parts can be used universally with any unit of that class, and are an abstraction for the various parts your machines can possess.
- Now you know the fate of the Crewmen, and find out the Baby Dragon is somehow the cause of it, it makes you wonder if you can keep it as a pet before it starts striking at you. Maybe if there's some expert on animals somewhere...
- The named of the Winged Unicorn is Celestia, but you don't know if the crew is completly resentful of this Winged Unicorn, or only a small group of the crew.
- While you know the above two, you still have no clue of where you are.
