first drop everything in your inventory and  go to where loam is and spam G and A as fast as you can and count to 100 afterwards then as fast as you can hit T B ENTER in order as fast as you can you should get a very high throwing skill with the stat it raises high

I used to do that before I knew about macros

Interesting fact. Training is for characters who have proven themselves fit to last the first night. If your guy gets killed and raped by bogeymans on the first day, or some other oogity boogity gets his goat, then congrats, you spent an hour grinding the stats of a dead guy. Aren't you proud?

Bogeymen are a joke.  You can literally bite them in half.  Even if that fails, biting just about any body part and shaking it off will make them bleed to death.  Although that being said they can still get some pretty lucky shots in.

4)  Find weak woodland critters like rabbits, crows or keas.  Turn off your dodging and lie down next to 2-3.  Lie there until tired/over-extert and move away a square.  Rest and repeat.  Very good for endurance, toughness, agility, kinesthetic sense, spacial sense, and willpower.
5)  Wrestle a bunch of critters.  Its a fun way to torture woodland creatures and train all above attributes.  Even more fun to choke undead critters.

That awkward moment when you realize that the jokey "chase this chicken as part of your training" thing in some martial arts movies is actually a form of power leveling.

Only with a zombie sponge.

To actually participate, if you carry a metric ton of gear around for awhile, it trains your str.  And very few people seem to remember the awesome power of knapping.

That goes hand in hand with the throwing.
