Convinced that hills may be too dangerous of a place to wander to, Aerus and Wendell instead choose to scout around through the forest and just up the road. As they had hoped not to discover - As far as they walked out, an edge to this wasteland of a forest was never found. Wendell comes across a plant that somehow managed to survive the mist, and identifies it as Hearthroot. A very common herb, that has some slight healing properties.

Minato and Leeroy wander about just around the cavern as the others go out to scout about. Minato finds a herb that had been growing outside of the cavern's entrance, and had managed to survive the mist. Hearthroot by the looks of it, used in some basic healing potions. Definitely useful.

[Entirely Optional Music]Sia, Varkhal, and Gamble opt to scout out a bit farther, in search of hills. There's no sign of any hills, but the group does spot the horses! The relief of knowing at least they're alive, quickly wears off when they watch as both the horses turn towards them in unison. Immediately upon catching sight of the group they charge! Was Wendell actually right? It's pretty unlikely that the horses are just happy to see you too.
Even more unfortunately, they've wandered far from the others by now, even if they do hear a call for help - It will be a while before they can make their way here.
I think most of this is pretty self explanatory, Just make your actions until they're as close to costing the amount of AP you have available as possible without passing over it. You don't get extra AP next turn if you waste some this turn. You'll also normally only get 50 AP per turn, but due to the distance between you and the enemies, it's just to speed the setup a little.
Of course, you have to be next to an enemy to use melee attacks and abilities. Most spells don't have a Chance to Hit percentage, but instead have a range. If a spell does have a range, it should be mentioned in its description. And of course, if you use a ranged weapon, you do have accuracy penalties depending on how far off the target is. But your accuracy will be listed in the Enemy's stats.
If your accuracy goes above 100%, it's converted to a chance to perform a damaging blow/mini-Crit, which is basically just dealing the maximum amount of damage that attack could have normally dealt.
So 125% Accuracy is a 25% Chance of Mini-Crit'ing.
Then anything over 200% is a chance to Critically hit, which deals 1.5x the maximum amount of damage that attack could have dealt.
Also, as for attack speed: It works in a sort of similar way. Anything at or below 100 is just a single attack. If your attack speed is 150, then you'll have a 50% chance of striking twice instead of once. 250, thrice instead of twice, etc.
