SOLAR: A Space Adventure Suggestion Game!

SOLAR: An Outer Space Adventure
You have been living on this dusty rock of a planet for 23 years. You were born on this Zanthium mining planet, and raised in the mines. However, you saved up, and bought a spaceship. Not any dinky shuttle. You bought a:

-Wasp: It has Zanthium fuel tanks for 10 Space Units worth of travel, two light auto-cannons ( Good for light to medium armored foes, but not shields. Carries 5000 rounds.) and a torpedo launcher ( Wrecks lots of armour, but takes time to reach target. 10 shots.). And finally has one asteroid mining module.

-Rhino: Has fuel for 7 SU, 4 250mm cannons ( Good against all armor, 300 rounds.) 2 Fusion Lasers ( Good Vs Shields) and a miner module.

-Dwarf: Fuel for 5 SU, armed only with 2 250mm and a solar laser ( Moderate Vs Shields) but carries 3 mining modules and one Zanthium refinery module.

After you bought your craft, you went down to the pub and managed to get some people along for the ride:

- A highly trained marine team, good for boarding or for defending from boarding.

-Mining Crew, good for increasing output.

- Merchants, good for bartering better prices.

Finally, you got a star map and a good chunk of fuel. You choose to go to:

Alpha 4B: A binary star with plentiful asteroid belts, and 3 terrestrial planets. Known Pirate haven, Extrasolar Corp. base in the vicinity. 2 SU away.

Yankee Victor 2M: Colonized system, large space station in orbit of one planet. 3 SU away.

Romeo 8S: Unexplored system. Possibly dangerous. 1.5 SU away.

In addition, your name is:

Dwarf, Merchants, Alpha 4B, and Samuel Reefs is fine.
Liking this plan, but let's swap the merchants out for some marines.

This but don't mind about the crew.

Ah, after this long inprisonment on this dusty cage you are finally breaking free! You get to the helm of your Dwarf, seeing your Marines clean their weapons, and plot a course for Alpha 4B.

Jump in 5...4...3...2...1

A flash later and you are in a new system. You have arrived. You see a small star base in orbit of a gas giant. The two blue suns seem calm, and a number of asteroids can be seen off in the distance. 3 planets can be seen.
The first is a planet with vast oceans and little land, and a good atmosphere. Possible Titanium and Lithium deposits here.
The second is lava covered. It has no atmosphere and is too hot to land on. Maybe the research star base could help you there.
The third is a planet reminiscent of your old home. Possible Zanthium and Copper deposits here.
There are also the asteroids. They could have all kinds of stuff on them.
In addition, the base is there to R&D some new spaceship tech. Maybe they could provide some work, as you have no money.
What do you do?

Chat with the base folk; while waiting to get there, calculate vectors for reaching Planet 1.

Mine that Lithium as it must be useful in handheld devices, assuming that lithium ion batteries are still cheap and effective, and grab whatever Titanium we can as well (if all three mining units are deployed, use two on the lithium and one on the titanium)

After we have this, it'll be a nice bartering chip for what we want.
