You know, I have to ask: is the 'Marriage' option still around for heroes so that they can produce offspring that then later on inherits the traits of magic?

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

@shadenight123: No, there's no dynasty system in this, so no spawn of Erala running about knicking monsters kneecaps. A pity, it might've been interesting though Fallen Enchantress is quite focused on specific leaders for the different factions rather then the faction as a whole. You can create your own sovereigns of course.
It occurs to me someone asked WAAAAAY back whether you all could have named units. I'm ashamed to admit that I completely forgot about that comment and I haven't been able to think of a way to really include it to any great degree. After this is finished, I have another game in mind that should be much better suited to having named units if that is still the want of viewers.

Do heros get put back into the pool after you kill their leader or do they outright die?

Another question: Does the mage path increase the damage of the ranged elemental caster staves?

@Neonivek/Twi: As far as I know, no you cannot get heroes back once their faction has been defeated. One faction might be able to bribe them into joining your side but beyond that no. Champions never die in combat, they get teleported to their factions nearest town with a new injury, if their faction is destroyed they disappear along with it. Barring the possability of a random event (which I don't know if such a one exists) there is a finite number of champions within a world.

@Hanzoku: Hmm... I wouldn't say so. My guess would be a ranged staff would be treated like a bow for damage counts, except all the damage is elemental (and thus not affected by attack rating I think). The staff Hairto is using, the staff of the furnace or somesuch, allows him to cast firebolt for no mana which IS affected by how many fire shards I have plus the strength of the caster.

As an aside: Photbucket, what I use to upload pictures, has suddenly decided to start adding scrambled numbers and letters to the end of my images. I hope I can find a way to turn this off, there should be an option but I can't see it, but if anyone can help please speak up. It's quite annoying having to add each picture link manually.

Edit: I may have found a way to remove this annoyance. I shall be changing the pictures above. If they're not visible please wait warmly while I finish the modifications.

EditEdit: Finished with the modifications. If there is any outstanding issues with the update please mention it.

Holy shit. I had to go back and look up Magnar's health after that. 464 crit on an 85 health target...

As for the others, are you sure there's nothing directly south of your first settlements? It looks like the fog of war runs up right against land on both sides down there, meaning there might be room for a land bridge.

464 critical hit  :o
Erala sure is someone not to anger...

I say this little land extension to the very south is suspicious. Might be a land bridge.

Well, there's two possibilites for the other three players. One, they're all built up on an island.

The second? The AI has done shit-all, and just had their sovereigns sit around without building even a single city.

Well, since we cannot do the conquest thing, I think you should prepare the ultimate spell thing. Time it so that it happens on the very same turn you destroy that ultimate wildland.

that would probably trigger only one, depending which one has pre-programmed priority. A shame.

I remember playing Rebuild, and managing to pull every single victory at once. I felt good.

You cannot comprehend the update!

(I originally planned to have the wordy bits seperated into spoiler tags, but figured that would just end up confusing people. Besides, it's probably easier to just scroll past it if you don't want to read it all)

@Sheb: As much as I would like to pull off a multiple win win, I don't think it's possible. Casting the spell of making takes about 10 turns and wins at the beginning of the turn it's finished, while completing the master quest finishes during a quest as soon as you win the last fight.

Anyway, thanks for watching everyone! I've had fun (though it was a tad tiring doing the pictures, good practice though) and while I'm disappointed for you all that the computer wasn't as much of a challenge as I had hoped, maybe I shouldn't have monsters and wildlands so numerous next time...

If in the future I begin to run out of room on my photobucket account, I plan to compile all of the images into a single PDF file for people to download if you wish to read it sometime so I can delete the images off my account. Though that shouldn't happen for a while.

Happy holidays!
