Natalie's eyes narrowed. I'll tell you right now that I used to work for the Diamante. As recently as four months ago, actually. But, someone else paid more. So I left. They don't want me dead, because I'm not stupid enough to piss of a global crime organization without a very good reason.

She glared at Wendigo. And I don't appreciate having my mind intruded upon...but I suppose you have a point.

She looked at Hawke, still calculating; though she hid it well, anyone looking carefully would see it. Whether they would think she was evaluating a potential ally or sizing up a future foe was another matter. I've got a job, from a crime syndicate, to take down a member of the Diamante. By the way...you seem to know an amazing amount about their organization, for someone on bad terms with them and who says they're compartmentalized.

Natalie smiled. This was going quite well. Trust? Companionship? Once she killed Hawke, the rest might see it as a sign that none could be trusted, and start fighting amongst themselves; less of a threat when she continued her 'other' activities.
