Auster runs out of buildings and falls into a park. He moves himself with a strong gust onto a tree. He flips off of the tree and lands directly in front of a rather large and angry looking man.
"Ahaha, how are you today, sir?"
He responds by swinging a bat into Auster. Auster deflects it with his stun baton and jumps backwards.
"Just as well, I was hoping for a fight."

The mugger is now ashes.
"Continue whatever you were doing. Or not. Meh."

"Read that. Was quite an interesting story. Tried to solve that case for a while, but those guys are good at covering their tracks. Nice to know the story behind that, though."

He scans Hawke's thoughts for a few seconds to see if he's telling the truth, but stops as he sees that he isn't lying.

"Anyway. I'm the ice guy. Wendigo. No big title-stories yet, but I'm trying."

Eric ponders the question. "Ehehe, I might have wound up in the news. Was there anything about an assassination attempt on a big corporate exec? I kinda blew a contract with Diamante and man are they not happy with me."

The Phoenix returns to her rooftop, bored again and needing a bit of sleep.

Natalie noticed a man above her, in a tree, had somehow noticed her...while two-dimensional she had near zero weight, so it was quite an achievement. She could strangle him...but it was of little consequence that he had seen her. He couldn't stop her.

So she left. Skimming from place to place, she found a man being burned at the hands of another so-called heroine. What to do...oh well he was dead now. Maybe the woman could help her...she'd recently got a job, but it'd be tough. Killing another 'super'...

Moving onto a wall, she stepped out and became three-dimensional, smiling slightly.

Hello, Wendigo. That's right, you're the weather-controlling telekinetic, right?
Um, yeah, twitch, I might have seen something...don't connect you with it, though. Did you enter a bake sale a couple months back?

Auster slams both stun batons into the thug, paralyzing him.
"And that's why you don't fuck with a super... You okay, guy?"
Auster checks the thug's pulse. "Whew. Not a murderer yet."
He celebrates his avoidance of murder by heading to the nearest bar.

"Hehe, oh yeah the bake sale job... That was an odd job."

Natalie's eyes run up and down the super. Like an opposite of her. She created light and heat...interesting. Probably less morally inclined, though she may be what hollywood called an anti-hero, from how she fried that mugger. She'd find out, she supposed. Her kind smile didn't reach her eyes, though she wasn't particularly cruel; military training hardened you is all.

Do you have anything to do this evening? I'm Shades, by the way.

Natalie raised an eyebrow. A pyromaniac; probably less a hero, though it might be difficult convincing her to do anything.
