Natalie whisps through the park, unseen, flitting from shadow to shadow. Anyone looking would see only a bird. She has no purpose tonight, no dark intent. She simply lurks, watches, and wonders about these new 'heroes' who might make it a bit difficult to keep performing her 'tasks'.

The Phoenix stumbles across a mugger trying to rob a man of his suitcase.
"Finally. Something to do."
She self ignites and jumps down.

You from the Diamante? If so... You've landed yourself in a heap of trouble. If not... just sit down. I'll tell you what happened.
He begins to drink some beer as he tells the story.
It all started about 7 years ago. I was 15 when I discovered I had some ah... abilities. A man discovered me a year later, and offered me a job. I accepted, and I joined with the Diamante League. I was an assassin. Damn good one, too. But 2 weeks ago, I disobeyed orders. I was told to kill a important politician's daughter at a convention. I saw her face and... I just couldn't kill her. And now my old 'Boss' and coworkers are out for my blood.

Wendigo walks in through the entrance, immediatly making his way to the counter. On the way, his mind picks up a few thoughts from Grey Hawke.

"Quite some problems you have, Hawk. Sorry, couldn't help but hear that. You know me."

Ordering a beer from the barkeeper he sits down next to him.

TwentySix opens one eye, something or another rustling near his tree waking him up and launching him into a small, quiet, aside.


"Well, that's somewhat surprising. Didn't even fall out of the tree this time. However, comma, I'm certainly not feeling nearly well-rested enough to go start looking for plot let. Now, while I'm sure it'll come my way soon enough, I'd rather it's after a full sleep and a pot of coffee."

At that, he pulls his chin underneath his color, and turns halfway over in his tree, laying and listening closely.

Eric, who had been eavesdropping on the conversation, perks up at the mention of Diamante. He slinks over to Hawke and Obsidianstroke.

"Hey what a happy coincidence!" he says, appearing next to Hawke suddenly. I'm running from those jerks too!

The mugger pulls a club out of his jacket.

The Phoenix kicks the man's hand, making him let go of the suitcase. She grabs him and starts to burn him. She's a violent hero.

Those bastards must be slipping up to have lost 2 members in such short of a time. To answer your question, though, I was in the news. Chaos at Convention: 27 Dead. Also, I was going to speak with Keep there, he gestures to the Bartender, To find a way to get the Diamante off my tail.

Oddly enough, I was talking about *points to Wendigo and Eric* them. I'm not directly associated, no. I was thinking of doing some heroics--that's what people do when they get powers, right? Anyways...need a place to lay low?
