He is interrupted by a bunch of people in black with guns busting through the door.
They appear to be thrusting an office worker in front of them as a shield.

"Give us your money now! Just stay calm, and give us the money, and we won't kill anyone!"

Auster smirks.
"I'm not sure you guys are in a position to be threatening any of us. Case in point."
He waves his hand in a swift motion and a gust of wind sends the gunmen out of the bar, leaving the office worker standing frightened inside.

Phoenix sees a bunch of armed men.
"Flesh burns nice, too..."
She breaks off into a sprint, self igniting.

The office worker runs off, and the gunmen get annoyed.

"One of dem Supers? Sweet, we get to take one of them DOWN!"

They rush back in, but one of them is sent flying backwards with a jet of water.

Hawke's arm becomes an assualt rifle, and fires on the Gunmen.

Phoenix tackles one of the men, spreading the fire to him. She gets up and starts shoving at the others.
"Burn."

The trenchcoat man's right sleeve falls apart, to reveal a crab pincer.

"SHIT! ONE OF DEM MUTANT HEROE-

Shut it, we can kill 'em!"

They return fire, and another is killed by Hawke's attack.

"You're an optimistic one, aren't you?"
Auster takes out his stun-sticks and flings one at a gunman. After hitting its target it glides back to his hand.

She continues setting them on fire.
"All can burn."

The trenchcoat man grabs one gunman with his crab pincer, and then cracks his ribs open, dropping him.

There are only two remaining, who are killed by Phoenix.

Wendigo calmly takes a sip from the drink he has just poured into his glass, looking over the carnage.

"Idiots."

"...That was pointlessly violent."

"So. I assume you're fellow specials? Hey! That woman from last night! What were you wanting me to burn?"

Trenchcoat man hides his pincer quickly by retracting his arm into his sleeve.

"Indeed."

Natalie watches all this calmly, though she appear to be surprised and frightened. It gives her a moderate idea of what she's dealing with, at least. Besides, her powers aren't all that useful in direct combat. She is sitting at the table where Hawke and the others were, and ponders how to kill someone who can probably become a nuclear weapon if he wished. When Phoenix speaks, she turns bright crimson.

Oh, just a pile of junk I have. Noone'll take it off my hands, and it's hard to get rid of it any other way. Maybe we should talk...somewhere private?
