As a note to any of the telepathic types around, scanning TwentySix would be a bit of task, as he's more than a little unbalanced. It's certainly doable, but he's not one to make solid plans, and his own past is locked way up in his mind.

Wendigo's telepathy isn't really completly voluntary, so he'll probably get quite a few headaches around her.

Figured he might notice that. Suspicion is fine, and probably advances the story I'm creating, but outright knowledge kinda ruins it.

Yeah, I probably should lay out some direct rules here.

1. His telepathy is like hearing. he can't decide which minds he reads, he just hears everything.
2. He only hears surface thoughts.
3. Other telepaths and certain people can block it.

She blocks it for three reasons.

1. She was(and still is, for good reason) extremely superstitious
2. She was a former Spetsnaz, one of the toughest special forces on earth with training programs that kill some of it's recruits
3. and for plot reasons. Plot is the most powerful substance known to Roleplaying.

Trying to read trenchcoat guy's mind will result in you hearing nothing but waves from the seashore.

It doesn't help when he's not at all human and, at least, probably an implied eldritch abomination.

At least...not if you don't try. But trying to read the mind of ...whatever he is not going to be easy.

The Phoenix has a sort of literal firewall. Her thoughts go so fast and are filled with so many different things, most of them of people burning, that it's hard for a reader to form anything coherent. Difficult, but not impossible. And yes, she's been alive for around a century.

Okay, we have cthulhu, one telepath, one with special training, and two who just are so stupid/insane that it doesn't work on them. Anyone else?  >.>
