Name: Laevinus Cornelii
Gender: Male
Race: Humans.
Appearance: As a man in his early 30's , Lavninus is arguably among the fittest in the senate. With his wide shoulders and strong arms he makes a strong impression whenever he speaks in the senate. He has the deep, green eyes typical for the Cornelii. Those eyes has becomed something of a family symbol. And he often wears a green cloak inherited from his father.

Bio: Laevinus is the forth son of Lupus, and therefore there wasn't much for him to do but to join the military. Because of his family name, he quickly gained the rank Centurion. His military carrier stopped there, there are several rumours why. Some proclaim that Laevinus refused to be promoted, since Laevinus always proclaimed that a noble be the first ones into a charge. Others say that he simply wasn't smart nor patient enough to grasp the complex knowledge needed for a good general.

But Leavinus still managed to make a name of himself during Lucius Licinius Lucullus famous military campaign against the Whitepeak alliance. At the battle of Coria, Laevinus and his legionnaire managed to perform a textbook example flanking manoeuvre turning the tide of the battle. This gained him a seat at the senate much to the dismay of his older brothers.

As a politician he lacks the rhetoric skills that his brother were schooled with. He is in many ways a pragmatic. But he does stay firm in certain issues. To center all power around a single individual is a dangerous thing, but what's even worse is the populist movements. Only those with a noble blood is fit to rule.

Skills:Tactics, Weaponmastery (Blades).
Political alignment: The Optimates

Name: Rocyr Faenicu Arteral. Call him Fae, if you're a friend.
Gender: Male
Age: 33
Race:Human
Skills: Charismatic, +1 swordsmanship(Cliché, I know, right?)

Political alignment: Popular (Supports both Mercantilism and Expansion, citing the fact that you need money for the latter, and the first allows you to see new lands)

Appearance:  Fae isn‘t too tall, about average of height, but his frame is athletic and trim. His dusky, tan skin is marked and flecked with scars. His hair is a dull, almost flat black, coming down around his face in small, thin dreadlocks, giving his fine Hadrian features a foreign tint, despite his pedigree. Two eyes of steel grey stare out at the world with a lazy confidence from either side of a sharp, crooked nose. A few scars linger on his face, but none of them are too detracting from his visage.

Spoiler: Bio (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Other servants (click to show/hide)

Ignore anything that is not acceptable.

Also can my hair be bronze in color?

Fil, are you asking for a benefit the other characters don't have?

Also, lost my post. I'll have to rewrite it due to the fact my workplace doesn't have Lazarus in the browser.

Filex: In. I personally see no problem with your char starting married or with slaves.
Evil Marahadja: In. I invite you to join us on the IRC channel #yak4 , if you want to be part of all sorts of casual conversations outside this thread.
Kingfisher: There is still room for improvement, but it's getting significantly better. Perhaps a more in detail explanation of his background? How does a bloodthirsty foot soldier becomes a high ranked officer and a senator?

People: Introduction of a new skill, named Legislation. It is basically charisma, but it only works on senators; charisma now only works on plebs. You are allowed to switch one of your skills to it if you so desire; just announce it below this post so we know who made the change.

In my case, Kaeso will go from Charisma I to Legislation I.

No I am not.

Firstly: All players may have  a few bodyguards, which basically amounts to +1 or +3 in health. I can't recall. They give +1 strength. Unless this rule was changed with time? I can start with a man who is basically the same as a bodyguard group, like you stared with Sahaain, if I'm not mistaken?

Secondly: Just 'cuz I'm not a dipshit who think I'm am invincible, does not mean I'm asking for something the other players don't have.

Edit: Pardon the typo's. I don't have no spellchecker

Name: Marcellus Osii
Gender: Male
Race: Dwarf
Appearance: A man in his late 30s, Marcellus is of a dark complexion and a ruddy face. His hair is dark brown and is braided into several knots and tails that end at his shoulders. His beard is relatively narrow and clean; it is braided into a long tendril that reaches to the dwarf's belly. His eyes are brown and his body is quite slender for a dwarf, if a still quite stocky for a human.
Bio: Marcellus spent his early years in the countryside in the plantations of the dwarven branch of the Osii. As a youth Marcellus was taught how to run an estate by his extensive tutors and relatives. He often got bored of the lessons and spent his time playing games on the estate or going out for an adventure in the surrounding hills or villages. He usually got a few whippings when he got back, but it was worth it in his eyes. As a yound adult, Marcellus was sent to the capitol to learn under Extavius Osii, a relative in the human branch of the family that officially operated as an official of the Imperial Guild of Commerce and head of a section of the city sewers but was often rumoured to work with criminals and foreigners. Those rumours are of course, completely unfounded. Regardless, under his tutelage, Marcellus was forced to learn the 'family way, or be gutted and thrown in the sewers'. Eventually, using several connections, Marcellus was able to take on a senatorial role. As a senator Marcellus has few loyalties; he often switches between parties, whatever seems to suit him and his associates.
Skills: Charisma: +1, Subterfuge: +1
Political alignment: Currently Novi Homines
