Appearance: Fae isn‘t too tall, about average of height, but his frame is athletic and trim. His dusky, tan skin is marked and flecked with scars. His hair is a dull, almost flat black, coming down around his face in small, thin dreadlocks, giving his fine Hadrian features a foreign tint, despite his pedigree. Two eyes of steel grey stare out at the world with a lazy confidence from either side of a sharp, crooked nose. A few scars linger on his face, but none of them are too detracting from his visage.
Most of his early life is shrouded in mystery. He’s either an adopted scion who grew up in the lap of luxury, or a true son of the Arteral family, born and bred, which most, if not all of his records support. His elder brother was an adventurer of some note, who often sailed to foreign lands to trade for the noble family. One day, Fae’s parents decided to let him go along with his elder brother.
He returned with a number of new scars and with a strange light in his eye. Her began to devour tales of the outside world, and his parents even bought him a dwarven slave, who often traveled with him to nearby taverns and sailor’s dives, in order to hear news. His new tutor was to train the then young man in combat and fighting. That, is, until his older brother, who was being groomed, whenever he was home, to take his waning Father’s place in the senate, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness.
The body was interred, and Fae was quickly thrown into the grooming spot after mourning. He even married the wife his parents arranged for his older brother, a girl one year younger than him by the name of Sophia. They married at sixteen and fifteen, respectively, and despite both of their misgivings about the whole thing, it worked out quite nicely, both of them are content, if not happy with their marriage.
His father, followed shortly by his mother, died of old age and illness, and both were interred in the family mausoleum, which stretches far, far under the manor basement, apparently having been built by dwarves. It’s also claimed to be haunted by said dwarves. As well as by demons, dragons, witch-slaves, wizard-slaves, ghosts, skeletons, ghouls and zombies. And living statues of bronze.

Sophia is a well-mannered, smart, and above average in beauty. She’s blonde, and often wears her hair in a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes as she keeps herself busy doing a number of things, some of which she actually completes. She’s an avid reader, and knows quite a bit about a number of subjects.
There’s another woman in Fae’s life, however. A forest Elf slave named Aspasia who obseses over him, and has attempted to kill his wife a number of times, only to be foiled by the wife herself. For some reason, they keep Aspasia around.
Fae tends to call their relationship a kissamesis, which has some strange meaning in a foreign tongue; since Aspasia often visits their bedroom.

Kihiho Bladebattler: a bodyguard that often accompanies Fae. A menacing dwarf who is well trained in the art of fighting. And has taught his master all he knows, and a few things more. He's ugly, stout and pretty strong.
