Name: Cain Shola

Background: Cain has spent a great deal of time in the Imperial Court being as non-descript as possible. Often being labled unambitious to the point of laziness, his apparent apathy for the politics of the senate has not made him any friends or enemies. He spends a fair amount of effort only in attempts to gain the ear of the Emperor - who never listens to him anyway.

Cain is often regarded as a 'petulant child' by much of the Senate, due mostly to his 'inheritance' of his Senate seat after the death of his father to consumption. No love was truly lost as it was, his father spent most of his time blindly agreeing with the Emperor out of fear rather than make any friends in the Senate. Starting from nothing, in many ways, was both easier and more freeing than starting with the expectations of honoring old alliances.

Though his currently solitary stance is not a secret, the willingness of others to approach him has been vacant in its entirety. This doesn't bother Cain in the least, however, as it affords him the opportunity to concentrate on the Emperor - when he's not embracing the laziness of this station in life.

Name: Derahoc of the house Astralia.
Gender: Male
Race: Human.
Bio and so forth!: Standing at 190 cms, Derahoc is a tall lithe human. Some suspect his ancestry includes elven blood, but he will cheerfully disabuse you of that notion. He is scarcely into his 20's, but was well trained in the backbone of war by a succession of tutors hired by his father who intended to sculpt him into a general and orator for the Republicans. The second his father was dead and his own position in the Senate was secure, he repositioned himself into the Imperialist faction in order to advance more quickly, throwing his skills behind the newest Emperor.
Thought by many of his peers to be quite ruthless, he will stop at nothing to heap achievements before the feet of the Emperor in order to increase his own standing. He still deals with the occasional lingering accusation that his fathers death was not peaceful.

Appearance: Tall and thin, with a wisp of dark curlay hair around his balding head, Lucius is still in a remarkable good shape for a man of over 45. Born from a wealthy and ancient patrician family, he was destined for public office from birth. A skilled general, he led a succesfull campaign against the Whitepeak alliance before coming back to serve in the Senate as one of the Optimates's most influencial members.

Appearance: A Huge Man, Rurik is looking more like a bear than a man and rumours have it that in his family line there is some Orc-blood although nobody would say that out loud. Short blond hair and a braided red beard covering most of his face. His arms are  and his Torso have many a scar.
Bio: Third Son of Chieftain Einar of the Clan of the Sveben, Rurik and with him a Regiment of Svebish Warriors were sent as a gift to the Emperor. The Svebish Guard hasn't seen really any action since they arrived but they are eager to prove otherwise. Rurik himself is a proven Warleader among his people and has conducted many a raid on the Badavi (Sworn Enemies of the Sveben). He is following the Pagan beliefs of his people.

Appearance: Septimus is a causian man of average build in his early forties, standing 5'9 ft tall and sporting graying short brown hair. He is seem usually wearing either a trabea, a purple toga worn exclusively by Emperors and statues of the gods, or a set of black plate armor, embroiled in silver, with a long piece of purple silk draped over his right shoulder.

Bio:

Born to a prestigious family of patricians, Septimus spent his early days between military training encompassing strategy, tactics and engineering and his intellectual pursuits at the Imperial Academy, learning rhetoric, philosophy, finances and the history of the Empire, as well as its laws and customs. Recently out of the academy, Septimus was elected to the office of quaestor, using his family's influence as leverage, and would, from there onwards, take a seat at the Senate.

His successes as financial supervisor in Hadria led to a quick ascent through the Empire's public offices, having served, in turn, as curule aedile, praetor and, finally, consul. Having fallen in the previous Emperor's good graces along the course of his career, both due to his personal merit and his family's immense wealth amongst the city's elite, Septimus was summarily appointed the Emperor's heir. His ascent to the position of Emperor, a few years later, was shrouded in mystery, for, though his claim was clear, the previous Emperor's death, allegedly while he slept, was surrounded by sketchy details and rumors of a plot by Septimus and his supporters amongst the Imperial Faction.

Whatever the truth be, Septimus has swiftly taken upon the position, appointing his foremost collaborators to several of the Imperial Offices,  and now, eight years later, after severe military reforms and extensive planning, prepares to lead an invasion upon their immediate neighbors, the Whitepeak Confederation, marking the beginning of  a new era for the Empire of Hadria.

Name: Vormulus Carnius
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearence: At 32, he has is of average height for his ae, Vormulus has a well muscled body with thick black hair but no facial hair, he has a scar running down his right cheek, he is normally seen wearing his lightly adorned armour, but in senate he does wear his senatoral Toga, although he despises it.

Bio: Born in a highly rspected faily of the Aristocracy, he had a good education and his father had plannd for him to be a great politician, but Vormulus depised politics and worked hard for a militairy posistion, studing the exploits of the greatest generals in history. His Father did finnaly work to grant him a position in he army, and he rose up the ranks quite quickly, but many suspect this may be somewhat to do with his heritage. He has a hot headed personality and often rushes in without thinking, as his is how he got his scar whilst chasing bandits, he is als known for quite a temper. He firmly believes in the empires right to inherit the world and spread civilization. After his fathers death he inherited a position in the senate, which he only took to further his goals for the army, although his father was imperial, he joined the Populars as his many years in the army gave him much respect for the peasentry as well, but his short tmeper and lack of intrest in polotics means that hedoesn't spend much time with the senate, most of his days in the Army
