Oh good good. Hmmm. I didnt read all the pages (Mainly the first and last ones), anything i should know happened meanwhile?

Also, i look around myself, confused, and triying to find out why i just appeared here. I look on my clothes and find a book. I open it and start reading, while walking, by instinct, to the basement. I make sure no one else is around, if im alone, i say Shareeb Shubha by instinct.

The most important thing I can think of is that Perplexicon is no longer an arena deathmatch, it is an entire world.  There are other ways to get souls than killing other players.

Such as? Is there an updated map? Also, i guess that as we collect on souls we gain power, am i wrong?

There are also teams to join for words and enhanced research.

As far as I know Piecewise hasn't released a map, the world is much too large for that, and you can now gain souls by killing NPCs (Some of which can also use spells) and monsters.

Edit: And yes, as derm said there are teams of players, Team Aether and Team Bismuth, either derm or GreatWyrmGold is the spokesperson of Aether, and I believe parisbre56 is the spokesperson of Bismuth.

How death works is very important I believe:

Ok here is how death will work from now on:

If you die:
you lose all your inventory (minus the book)
Half your acquired points (Rounded up. You have to remove that many points from whatever skills you want)
All progress towards the next level of god favor.
You respawn back in the temple
Your Corruption level does not change

There are two caveats to this:
Dying to a player, since they steal your soul and the souls you've acquired
Reaching 8/8 Corruption, because other things happen.

If you lose by one of those two special cases, your character is considered lost forever.

And I'm the recruiter for team Bismuth, if you ever feel like joining a team.

I though that you only lost all the progress to the next level of god favor.

(By the way, Now got favor levels don't disappear on death. Once you reach lvl 1, it stays that way. But the "charge" for the next level does go away. So be careful.)

He changed that rule earlier, I found the post that he changed it on.  I believe the other rules are still the same.

Well, i prefer finding words/runes myself, as i said, so that doesnt count.
And at beggining i rather go to an smaller group to learn before leading on to big (And probably more dangerous due to wars etc) ones. I can change group later right? (If i wish to)

As far as I know there are only 3 teams, Aether, Bismuth, and Sky Pirates (I don't know if they accepting members.), but there have been absolutely no wars for any team.

If you want a small group there are the sky pirates. Although they do seem to crash their ship around a lot...

And Team Bismuth has built a fun little fort with an experiment room.
