No, he didn't mess up. He put all his points into channeling, and every point in channeling GIVES you 1 pool. So because he has 10 Channeling, he has 10 pool. Points cannot be put into pool itself.
That's a legal character, if a little unbalanced.

I doubt so much unbalanced. He'd need a five or above to actually succeed on any spell, and a three or above to not die from it.

I did the math, he would have been better going for a 3 pot - 7 channeling build (like me) if he wanted to maximize his science-ing ability (to maximize words said/word successes ratio) as I do.

Who knows, he might be going for something else, but I'd recommend 3pot-7chan myself.

Ok so my dad is sick today. I've been able to do the other posts between running him to hospitals and x-rays and such, but I'm not sure I'll have the time to finish this post today, mostly because these posts take literally like 3 hours to do.  Just a heads up. If I can't finish it tonight, I'll do it tomorrow.
