So, what did I last talk about...
Oh. When they were having the basement war.
((Note, this is just my thought stream of highlights. It's not really ordered in a logical manner, it's just things as I thought of them.))
Well, the two people dedicated to Flux died. One got mindraped by a rift monster the Lovecraft-control guy summoned, the other got his head smashed into his torso after he picked up a sledgehammer.
Several other people got various limbs mangled- One guy got a leg and arm broken, and then later accidentally turned the broken arm into ice with a [Pot:1].
The Lovecraft guy also had to be nearly killed, three times in a row, before he realized trying to open rifts in the middle of a battle is a bad idea. He got rescued from one of his monsters by the guy who broke two limbs.
But in the end, they won, and one of the Scarlon people got a chrome hopper as a pet. He also ninja-looted a crate full of weapons, giving just a bow to the cripple, and a dagger to the lovecraft guy. Much later, he mind-controlled a Storm Rok into being his pet too. He can't ride it without getting electrocuted, but it's still pretty good.
Let's see... The cripple went on to ignore the fact he broke two limbs, despite me pointing it out every turn. But he kept getting stupid good will rolls, so I let him crawl around. He later got a new arm after someone else discovered Zentol.
Oh, I made a system for people when they say Zentol, to turn it into less of a lottery. I didn't want them to abuse my strategy that gives a full body. Pretty much, it's a die roll to determine how benevolent/cruel Zentol is, then it goes down a priority list of problems.
The person who discovered Zentol is the guy I was talking to when I wrote that first thing. The very first word he said upon spawning, was "Zentol". Zentol was feeling nice, and gave him new legs at a discount price.
These people have been forming and destroying teams and whatnot like crazy. They needed some way to communicate privately, so I suggested Quicktopic, but they didn't like that. So one of them volunteered to write a chat/word organizer program in Java, and host it on their server. And they did. So the teams now have their own chatrooms, which they've let me watch for fun.
Most of them are sort of wandering aimlessly, and changing their plans every few days for whatever reason. So far the person who's made it the farthest is the lovecraft guy (Who has decided to not use rifts until he gets a higher will). He's fighting a villager in the village.
The person who's done the most science, and not hidden the science to boot, is a follower of Shub-Shalsheil. He's got the first sixteen or so B runes, and a few C runes. And he has a basic understanding of A1 and A6. Plus he's the only person to have used a material and form together, in an A6 circle- he grew some copper pots.
Oh, and someone discovered the Concoteael equivalent too! They summoned a bull/bird made of copper. Then they just left it by the village gate.
There's a sorta-kinda history.
Now:
What happened this turn, was a person charged into the spawnroom in an attempt to kill the newbie with new legs. The first thing they did was say the concoteael equivalent. Which marked their pitchfork with summoning sickness, and summoned the afore-mentioned pterodactyl.
Then the pterodactyl started crashing around throughout the room, and granted life to the junk people have left laying around, creating:
A magnet cat, which is purring against their leg.
A large diamond goat, which is being chased around the room by the..
Golden bear, which is trying to eat the diamond goat.
Both of the people involved are very confused.
