Jarvis thrusts his fist into the air.
"THE TIME IS NIGH TO WIN THE ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT AND CLAIM ULTIMATE POWE--Where the fuck am I." His previously dramatic moment ruined, he inspected his surroundings, them being some dank room with dead people standing around, himself, wearing a white robe for reasons he's not entirely sure, and what he has in his other hand, a leather-bound book it appears to be. Seeing little else to do, he flips a few pages.
Most of it is gibberish to him, some of the words even shifting on their own to try and thwart reading them. Scribbles in the margins point to various ones, saying that they do things, some scribbles scratched out, some underlined. Near the back of the book, there seems to be amount of words written in the margins.
If you are reading this, that means I died. For real this time, unlike the last three in which I simply came back, else I'd still have this book you have in your grubby mitts chances are. As to whether you killed me, some nasty beast, or someone else, I don't know and I don't honestly care, I'm dead. For all I know, you might be some newcomer or something who somehow got my book.
Either way, you're now to read the last will and testament of Glassco. And that was the last will and testament of Glassco, not much to really say honestly, always suspected I'd die somehow, maybe by being drowned by one of the many people I've conned in my life. Make use of all the notes in this book however you like, has information on the words and deities, even a few runes we figured out. We meaning John, captain of the Sky Pirates.
If you aren't already enemies with him, and he is alive and well by some fate of chance, seek him out and say Glassco sent yah to join up the Sky Pirates. He's down a member now, so he probably won't turn you away. If he's dead, well, shit good luck buddy seems you're on your own out cold there.
Do note if you see a giant thunder beetle who responds to the name Sparky and a possibly flying spear made of arm bone. Or a possibly flying skull and spine. Their owners aren't around to take care of them anymore, so if you find them take good care of them will yah? Best of luck whoever you are.
Oh, as a note, don't try to make a second covenant if you are already in one, leads to a rough spot. Because of that certain predicament I felt the need to write this up actually. So take that as a last warning.
Jarvis shrugged. Whoever that was, some dead guy who was weak it seemed. Too weak to survive out in this new world that he aims to show who's the boss, the REAL BOSS. Taking a moment to violently tear the sleeves off of his robes, he reads the section on deities and
heads into the 'Blastel' room that is stated to make one physically powerful. Seeing the alter, the man stared at it for a while.
"If you be that which can grant me even more strength to succeed, then you are who I shall follow! Grant me the power to overcome any foe with strength of arm! SHOW ME YOUR POWER BLASTEL, SO I MIGHT SHOW OTHERS MY OWN!" He slits his palm over the basin.
When asked the inevitable question, he steels his face and strikes a pose to show off his muscles.
"MY BODY! IT IS THE GREATEST WEAPON I EVER CARE TO KNOW! THE FIGHTING ART OF TRUE MEN, I CARE NOT FOR NO OTHER WEAPON THAN THAT OF THE SWEAT OF A REAL MAN'S BROW AND THE POWER IN THE HUMAN FORM!"
